What did you do to your Mach 1 today

GT500 CFTP springs finally arrived (a neighbor received them and decided to just let them sit in their house). Hopefully I’ll have them on by next weekend. These are 268#/in or about 27% stiffer than my HP springs. They’re still considered soft, but are the stiffest front factory springs put on an S550 and a half inch lower than base GT500 springs so I expect stock ride height given I don’t have a blower or the extra GT500 hardware. They were only $168 for the pair.

Was able to drive out into the city yesterday and enjoy the beautiful weather. The other scenic spot was closed but I guess that means I’ll have to return another day.

A buddy at work who also has a Mach checked out the new steering wheel today and his immediate reaction was "wow this is too thick for me". So echoing / summarizing other posts, I would say if you don't wear an XL glove, it might not work out for you. For reference I bought the same Amazon wheel as @RobZ71LM7 .

Can you do a side profile of your car once you have them on?

Yes.

I plan to take before and after detailed measurements of front ride height at wheel centerline to fender as well as lower splitter with tire size and even air pressure listed. I suspect it will be close to stock height, but we’ll see. My before will
be with HP springs.

[Gen 6 Mach1]

Well "What I did to my Mach1" today , I Detailed the engine compartment with Swiffer hand dusters ( I do this after 1 to 2 outings , very dusty here in the desert . Our season is over til September, as you all are getting into the season . She's all Detailed and I'm going to make an appointment for paint correction and Ceramic coating in July( slow months for them ) , and also reserve one of our lifts at the Shop for a week , (slow season , pic of the shop , 1 of a few in the country where the members own the facility) and pull the wheels off, Detail the complete undercarriage, install the new Steeda front sway links ,(was a gift ) . We still have occasional Cars n Coffee early sunrise 5:30 to 9 Saturday or Sundays and a West Valley cruise nite (Saturdays) Hot or Not , and during the summer months it's Hot .

Had to chuckle at the 1961 Dodge Dart at the back of the shop, you don't see many of those homely full size Mopars..... anywhere. They were reskinned Plymouths (slightly shorter and lighter than other full size Mopars) that could walk away from most Ford or GM challengers of the time with short ram Sonoramic induction and they can still be sleepers, today, with the right engine swap. Congrats to the owner for keeping it on the road.

Again, completing Ford’s job for them on completing the package for our Ford Performance vehicle. Got a brand new in the wrapper 2017 Fiesta ST owners manual kit on eBay for around $50. This comes with the same owners manual wallet used from 2015-2022 on Ford Performance vehicles, such as the GT350 and GT500, which is why I bought it.

I had a white German shepherd, she was a gorgeous girl and was devoted to my kids. Bless her, she is long passed now, I have a rough collie now (Lassie dog) but he is on some spectrum I reckon. Still love him though ha ha
