Is this an issue? My coolant tube was on backwards so it all fits now with no kink. I guess my IC left charge pipe does kind of come up a bit compared to the right side, but everything is snug now and not obstructing. My maf sensor is facing the right way yes
If you handled that kink in the coolant line, you're all good there. The big intake tube ends up with what you would almost consider a kink but it'll be fine.

My intake tube doesn’t actually have a kink, maybe I fitted everything weird uh oh lol. Oh well I’ll find out if my car explodes on first start

You're good, man. I am excited for you. You dug into something that is a serious project for someone who had never used a ratchet before. There may still be a hiccup or two along the way, but you are going to be good. The car is going to be a whole different animal.

Like others said when i did my ESS on my 2017 I did also rotate the maf further back toward the engine to gain some clearnace from the Coolant Res.

it fits without the coolant res touching it, its actually because its rotated forward a little lol. I’m assuming its okay? I really cant be asked to mess with the charge piping again that was crazy hard

do you guys think the way my lower coolant hose is bending around the maf will be an issue? Best i could get it without redoing all the piping. Its all locked in tight
This is incorrect. there shouldn't be any hose on top of the MAF housing. Take a picture from the top down, not so close up

Sorry for the bad angle I am at work now and had to explain to my wife how to take a video of this. As you can see I fixed the kink, there is a slight bit of clearance and nothing is pushing on exposed wires, i believe it only sits this way because the tube is rotated towards the front. But I’m assuming since theres clearance it should be ok??

Now, you need to take the MAF tube and rotate it towards the engine, so that the connector sits in that open space above the Crank damper/AC compressor. So, remove coolant tank, unplug MAF sensor, loosen clamps. rotate MAF housing towards engine about 30 degrees or so. You may have to completely remove the MAF housing and re-install it. Rotating that housing in the silicone tubes can be a bitch.

Then, your coolant tank tab will fit correctly into the slot, and go all the way down

It actually does go all the way down, only reason its slightly tilted is because the left plastic piece that held the screw broke off, i need to find a way to fix that. Like I said everything is clearing so it should be fine to leave it there? I just don’t know enough about the system to see if that positioning would cause issues, I can redo it if need be but I’m pressed for time and those pipings are insanely annoying. But with the tank in place nothing is hitting the maf sensor, it just happens to be below it

I learned a long time ago that time isn't usually a good reason to do something that could bite you later. More than one of us has recommended rotating that pipe.

Okay will do when I get home, only thing I can think of is it can get knocked around while driving like that, or heat up from the line

Dont be lazy.
rotate the MAF tube so that the sensor faces the engine, just like it says in the installation instructions. It takes 10 minutes

You should be able to just loosen the clamps that hold the MAF tube on, and rotate it with your big strong hands. Then tighten it back up. EZ PZ
I never picked up any silicone spray or anything recommended to make the piping easier. Safe to say I’m fed up with them and the clamps now! Lol
