Has anyone installed the RTR hood vents?
I have them installed on mine. Slightly less restrictive than stock, but yes, the hood liner covers up the driver side. Because open air filter and potential water intrusion issues. Have doubts that it brings down IAT that much. More for looks type thing and maybe just a very minor improvement in function.

How is the material?
The material is very close to OEM; the embroidery is top notch; the only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the holding clips on the driver floor mat; they work holding the mat in place just like the OEM, but pin to collar fit isn’t flush on top like the OEM or at least I didn’t get mine flush. I would buy them again, looking to get a set for my 2001.

They look good. My favorite S550 wheel by far. HEAVY, but they work. A pain to clean though.

Thanks , I timed myself cleaning the HP wheels compared to the GT350 wheels I had on . Twice as long , 20 minutes per wheel including faces and barrels.
No kidding heavy , but doesn't bother me .

Same. A good ceramic coating does help, but they still get super dirty. Speaking of which, I need to re do mine soon... :)

I found that cleaning them just requires that you leave perfection at the door.

Or spend alot of time cleaning them. I just do the best I can.

Brushes help and oddly found just throwing a dedicated wet soapy rag at them and mold it around all the nooks was quite effective.

Luckily here in the Desert it's only dust and break dust , that I'm cleaning . I did have them Professionally Ceramic coated . It wasn't cheap 100 ea. for faces and barrels, so I hope it's better than the DIY product. Every other time out driving I take the car to a DIY pull in Car wash a couple miles from home ,I only use the high pressure spot free water then high pressure blow drier.

Same, I just do the best I can. But I do spend a lot of time on them. And yes, I have a dedicated wheel mit that I put my whole hand down in and mold around all the spokes, and nice brushes for the barrels. And Armor Detail Supply wheel cleaner is VERY effective, having the iron removing component. Then I use P&S Frost Bite in the wheel bucket for lubrication and it has a slight alkaline bite to it. Then hit with either CARPRO Hydro or ADS Beads at the end to top up the ceramic protection...

I do brake buster
then

wheel well brush
hand mits over everything
stick/handle brush on lug nuts
one final pass with a rag with emphasis on nooks/arms (pinky strength comes into play)

HP is a way of life. Birdnest wheels/front splitter choose YOU
