Wow, this thread just died.

Anyway, bought some headers and debating sending off my intake to be ported to prep for OPGs/sprocket and a smaller pulley.

Which headers did you pick up?

I've been considering going LTH to ditch the cats for engine safety, but I'm not sure I want the extra volume.

Mostly everything has been beaten to death here lol. Don't waste money on the intake, get some type of fuel system and go e85 and pulley down to the 100mm.

American Muscle had a set of Open Box XForce 1 7/8s for 800 bucks.

From what I’ve read, stock active mufflers keeps its fairly tame, all things considered lol.

When I get them installed, I’ll post a video. Will be the Xforces, to a Borla switchfire to stock active mufflers.

Plan on doing both. My car is put away for 4/5 months of the year and auto mafia does it for 300 bucks. Figure, why not? lol.

Hi guys - got a couple weird questions. I've had the ESS installed for about 1,800 miles.

1) I pulled out the air filter today and was a little surprised at how dirty it is so soon. Anybody else notice this? Guess I'll have to look into how to clean it.

2) Any possible way the blower install could have made my heated seats stop working? The lights on both the driver and passenger side buttons light up but they don't get hot at all anymore. This was most likely the first time I've used them since the install.

1. I noticed mine was super dirty after just 5k, I think it's an effect of the location.

2. Not sure on #2 have you checked the fuses?

Get a filter sock. Filter will stay way clearer.

Yeah being right up front by the wheel, you could definitely see it getting dirty.

Haven't checked anything yet on the seats, but fuses sound like smart place to start.

Hmm wonder if heat would be a problem, the end of the filter is smashed up against the oil cooler there. Will look into that for sure though.

Heat hasn’t been a problem for me. There socks are sheer. So air passes through and keeps the dirt out.
