Looks are subjective but performance metrics are not. The upside is that there are options, get both!
We yet to know the performance numbers, so the jury is out on that. But how does anyone not see a truck nose on the DHSC! I get looks are subjective but I cannot not see it.

The new S650 Mustang seems good to me.

Let's pretend the S550 GT500 never existed. In that respect, the DHSC would be the greatest thing ever and the fanfare would be unreal.

Instead, let's just take the S550 GT500, add a few things, make it ugly, and pretend it hasn't been done before.

Talk about phoning it in.
Most definitely phoning it in.

just watched him Farleys press interview. Total disaster. People asking him why no cobra or gt500 name. Hee saying it belongs in the past. This is the future. Cringe.

then, after people aren’t buying his rhetoric about the Gtd being a corvette competitor, he dismisses the mustang altogether by talking up how the main thing for ford is off-road like the raptor, etc.

Sounds like they’ve stopped pushing high performance mustangs snd that the dirt mustang is going to be a thing.

He’s talking about how ford is outselling jeep 2 to 1 and do ford is leaning into off road and everything else is “meh” to them.

wow. Not a good look at all for mustang fans.

total deflection. “Hey guys. Don’t worry that the Gtd isn’t anywehrrr close to the zr1 performance, and forget about zr1x, snd don’t worry thst the legendary n as Mr plates are dead. We got broncos and f150’s.

Yee-haw!”

the crowd was not enjoying this st all. Rven thr ford lady handler next to him had trouble keeping s straight face. She was getting messages to shut it down before Farley buried himself further.

You can see it in stsngmodes channel. Total meltdown.

My 21 came in at 4098 with 3/8's tank.

DH is 3993 W/auto
21 Mach 1 was 3913 with auto.

So lets assume S650 is approx 80 lbs heavier in a kinda "GT350" auto, guise comparison.

That CF rotor thread reported saving 27 lbs for each front rotor (for 20+ GT500's).
Lets assume you save that 80 lbs back from the DHSC CF brakes (F/R rotors combined).

My guess, a bit more weight overall for 26 "GT500" vs 2020 designed GT500,
just from general weight creep.

So my guess is 4140 for S650 "CFTP".........
You are forgetting the 5.2 with Supercharger is heavier than the 5.0 in the base DH. Plus, the DCT is heavier than the A10/Manual. I could immediately feel a difference in the front-end weight when I got out of my 2020 GT350 and into the 2020 GT500. The supercharger/Assembly is heavy.

I do not think 4400 is going to be that far off for this thing.
