Regarding Common Heated/Cooled seat burnt harness

This may be a silly question, but all queries i can find regarding this doesn't answer my particular worry:

Does the passenger side harness being burnt out, also affect the driver side heated/cooled from working? I just checked and mine is definitely burned out, but no burned out harness under the driver seat..

To get a definitive answer you need to check a wiring diagram.
If, as I've read, there is only one ground wire it's entirely possible the answer is yes.
Either get an FSM with the wiring diagrams or hope someone will post up the relevant diagrams to confirm.

Thanks CJ, I read through all these threads and it looks like the fix is a replacement connector and wiring with a second ground wire added to handle the load and not melt as the original connector with only one ground. It appears I’m in the clear with a 2020 Bullitt (looks like the fix was done for up to 2017 Mustangs, 2018 F150s based on replacement connectors sold). Please correct me if there’s any issues with the later than 2017 mustangs.

I’m a bit of an electrical geek so I enjoyed the reading.
