Yeah I just saw that and retracted my statement. I just went to the website and noticed. I saw it in passing the other day and missed that detail.. At least the spray tube is available... And the Stainless Steel nozzle..

And even then, the Industrial heads still failed with alkaline chemicals.
The reality is, you shouldn't have to do that on a premium purchase like this when a basic $7 Tolco will outlast it 3 - 4 times over.
Damn sorry about the early failures, Deyon..and I have to wonder what sort of product testing was done and the same goes for OG, surely they tried out the new heads with heavily alkaline products but who knows? Again, sorry for the failures, I know you were hoping for better results but, at least Amplify shouldn't bother them and you'll get many hours of trigger time with it. :=)

Not bad for a 30-year old lawn mower.
Holy SMOKE, that mower looks and sounds brand new after your efforts! Heckuva buy!

Cut the front and back lawns with it today. Such a lovely machine to use, super light, plenty of grunt, smooth running. Including the purchase price and the service parts, I have about $155 in it. You can't buy a new mower of this quality for much under $1000 AUD these days, and even then, I do wonder if that new machine would last as long.

Currently 48F outside and rain coming later this week to wash the salt off the roads, so I pulled both cars out of the garage and fired up the ole pressure washer. Several weeks worth of salt on the cars, felt good to give it a good wash. Got the undercarriage attachment and sprayed the undercarriage off too. The cold returns next week, so figured it’s now or wait again a few weeks (or more)

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. I spent it in a most unconventional way, doing what I love, detailing of course. Had a guy that has been wanting me to do his car for months, our schedules never could align. I didn't have plans today, neither did he, we both did our holiday get togethers at a different time, so Christmas it was.

My first experience with a Subaru. 2023 Crosstrek, focused on the interior mainly on this one, the debris and pine needles were out of control. Still gave the outside a proper bath though, and applied KCx S0.03 to give it some hydrophobics and a pop of gloss... Used KCx Multi star for the pre wash, then Reactivation for the final foam and bucket wash. Really deep cleaned the paint that hadn't been washed ever I don't think.

Vacuum, vacuum, and vacuum some more, A cone drill brush was my friend here, I don't have a compressor so no Tornador for me...

Hey Alex @skinnyb . I bought my wife a new car yesterday and I’m trying to decide between ADS Quartz and ADS Pro for the coating. I have Quartz on my car and love it but am thinking of Pro for her car to get a little more life out of it. Any opinions on one vs the other? I think you’ve worked with both ADS coatings if I recall correctly

If Pro lasts longer than Quartz, will she notice that you redo yours more often than hers?

She honestly doesn’t care. She leaves the car detailing stuff to me. As long as I keep her car clean, I can do whatever I want with mine LOL.

If Pro does last longer than Quartz, I prefer that for her car just because big SUV’s are a pain in the ass to polish. I’d rather do it less frequently if possible 🤣

Just Quartz and Phobic for me. I've heard really good things about the new Pro coating. And it's supposed to be easy to use compared to the original quartz V1 which is a bit difficult. Definitely got pro on my radar for this spring for any cars I do, supposedly Pro topped with Phobic is the cats meow.

I have pro that’s going on my F-150 and it’ll be topped with Phobic. Now I just need the weather to cooperate with me!
Same, had a few almost 70 degree days last week, then the bottom fell out again on Monday :) Hoping this winter is VERY mild, I am getting too old for this $#!T...

33F so I took my wife’s new Explorer to the DIY wash. Buckets aren’t allowed so I did the best I could (and snuck a wash mitt with me LOL) and got a layer of ADS Beads on it. Also conditioned all the leather and gave the interior a good wipe down. Ford dropped some cool Easter eggs on the Explorer too. Detroit skyline on one side of the dash, Chicago on the other (Explorer is assembled in Chicago), all the Explorer generations and the current generation in the windshield.

Might I just say that Rapid Red is such a beautiful color. Can’t wait to get after it with the polisher this spring. I didn’t do anything with the wheels today, too cold so they just got sprayed down at the DIY wash. Also ignore my cracked driveway, winters are harsh and it’s likely getting ripped up this summer LOL

I want an ST so bad. It would be an excellent daily driver for me as I need the cargo space, but I question the reliability with the kind of miles I do. My Mazda is almost 4 years old and will have 140K by the time the 4 year mark gets here. It got a quick rinseless bath yesterday. ONR Wash and wax. I forgot how much I love that stuff. It works great, and leaves that Carnuba glow :)
