regular vs premium fuel in GT

Anyone know the difference in power I just filled up with premium and the car pulls way harder it seems like...

In peak power there isn't much difference, I think i've seen people say anywhere form 1-4% difference. I'm not sure what the source is for that number. However it is unknown if the difference is more drastic under the curve.

Personally, I don't know if the car pulls any harder really but the engine does feel more lively. I do have to say that in regards to fuel economy I haven't seen a difference between the two. Granted I haven't really put it to actual test yet.

With Premium Fuel, you're getting the full 435 HP. There's a performance hit for using 87 Octane. Someone smarter than me can explain it.

I'll reduce it to this simple statement -- Burn that gas!!

Well I just ran an older 13MY 5.0 and was beating him and then he would beat me we were back and forth but then I had to fill up and now the car feels like it pulls way harder than it did before..i have a hard time getting it to spin as well but haven't tried with the premium

Butt dyno is inconclusive... could easily be just in your head

I highly doubt you'd feel the 1% hp hit that a GT takes on 87 vs 93 in doing what you're doing. You're most likely imagining it.

Well I guess you could say I got my ass handed to me by an older 5.0 he has an intake exhaust and tune and I guess weight is another factor
