So! Got the mustang lowered yesterday. It wasn't hard to do but it was very time-consuming. I've have lowered 4 other cars and none of them were as complicated as this one. I shouldn't say complicated, it just required more patience. It was a great weekend! Got the FRPP Sport exhaust on and got it lowered!

This is eibach prokit. 1.1" front and 1" rear.

Looks awesome Khyber! These are the springs I am going with. I have done extensive motor work over the years but never messed with suspension stuff. Any tips or hints on doing this?

make sure you got ALL the tools and a 2nd jack would be nice with at least two jack stands... 2nd jack helps with lowering the rear subframe/lowering & raising the strut into position...bring patience...and get yourself some decent spring compressors....and impact gun will be your life saver too. I did one side at a time. by the time you do the front and rear on one side you'll probably be 5x as fast on the other side.

get something like these:

not these pain in the ass ones like I have that take 400 years to compress and decompress because the bottom of the strut is so big, you have to put them on upside down and you can't get an impact gun in there. takes forever with wrench...unless you got a ratchet wrench tool or whatever they call it. we didn't have a 22mm one so had to use an adjustable wrench and took FOREVER.

No biggie but swapped out the vanity lights with LEDs from Diode Dynamics and put in the cargo net from Ford Accessories.

I wrecked most of my anchor-room light tinting pieces. No idea what I was doing wrong, just seemed terrible to work with. I succeeded on the rear outboard reflectors and third brake light...destroyed the front amber, turn signal, and tail light pieces.

The pieces to cover the amber reflectors were just massively too big. The front turn signal pieces were going good...started adding heat with a heat gun, conservatively from ~8-10" away, was going alright then boom. Lines everywhere. Looked like crap.

Looks like VHT nightshade if I wanna do it at all.

I just gave Evolution Performance the down payment for the next set of mods:
Procharger P-1SC-1 Black
Injector Dynamics 1015CC Injectors
Barton short throw shifter
Eibach Sportline springs
Tint
I hope it warms up enough to be able to get the car to them by the time the parts come in.
