Hey yall,

im running into an issue with my Mustang it’s a 2018 Mustang has a 3.0L whipple with a return style fuel system

The fuel system is a for innovations L2 three pumps (274) with a fc3 controller, I drove the car this weekend, was perfect had about a 2 hour drive, I let the car sit for a bit when I reached my destination, I then went to go get A car wash (touch less just water spray) and everything was fine after the car wash let car run when I got home dried it turned it off, then went to grab dinner on my way to dinner the car completely had no throttle response mid drive im hitting the throttle and it’s cutting power, I get it back home diagnose it, I’m coming to a fuel issue, pumps are not priming when I’m accessory mode, I’ve checked fuese relays the controller nothing looks damaged, would one pump really not cause the other pumps to prime ? , is there something specific I should look for, the battery was also drained so I swapped it out for a new, I’m not sure what else to check/verify I ordered a new pump should be here Monday but any tips recommend would be helpful

thanks yall

Depends on how it is wired. Are all three pumps wired to come on, or is it staged with a hobbs switch

Did you install the fuel system, or someone else?

Did you open the Controller case to confirm that the fuses aren't blown?

Yes I’ve tested the fuses in the controller they were fine all wires are wired into the controller to work so no job switch I had a shop install the fuel system it’s been installed for over a year plus no issues, I’m also getting no pressure to either regulators forgot to mention that as well

Well, It's pretty unlikely that all 3 pumps died at the same time.

Are you sure you have 274's? If not, you may have pumps that do not have a check valve, and if 1 pump shits the bed, the others will backfeed through it, right back into the tank.

Are you sure that you have full battery voltage on that large red wire? And good ground on the black?

How did you test the relays inside the controller to verify operation?

Yes it’s 274 got in contact with the person who helped out in the fuel system we verified it’s 274s

its brand new battery just bought it like two days ago , I tested on a multi meter as well to everything checks out, I opened the controller to verify the connections within it
