So I'm about to put my car down for the winter again and I'll be doing some more work to the engine. Right now it's Whipple Supercharged with several supporting mods. It makes 768WH and I'm looking at adding a good catch can. What ones work best for supercharged cars?

I have the J&L Catch Can. It's a tight fit with the supercharger, but it gets the job done. Passenger side only.

So you don't need to run one on each side?

Forgive my ignorance, but I thought catch cans were really only that useful on engines that were direct-injection only. And a 2015, IIRC, has only port injectors (let alone having both, like the 2018+).

I just went with the UPR dual catchcan when I supercharged. Super easy install and does both sides. And I got it from Beefcake!

You want to vent the pressure that gets past your rings especially on a supercharged engine. It's not just about keeping oil out of the intake tract.

A catch can is good on any engine that recycles oil vapors back through its intake. After years it gunks shit up. It's horrible.

I’m NA but I run the Ford Performance catch can. Not sure if it fits with the Whipple or not.

Does it matter if the engine has forced induction or not? I’m not sure.
I run the Ford Performance separators on my 350.
