Which I find cooler than the fox body of the time, to be honest. I'm not really a fan of the pinto-ish 2nd gen mustang, neither of the fox body... I know, times were just like that, but yet, it is not obligatory to like the mustangs because they're just mustangs... (Yeah, there may be a couple of exceptions to the fox body I may admit, but a tiny very exclusive ones, LOL )The black with gold 1979 Trans Am was popular like that.
Just to let you know - exports seem to be a 700A option, or at least in Europe. They seem to be a mixture of features but kind of cover 99% of the 700A option. They all have the B&O and the security package. All recaros I've met are leather. Some come with the 5-spoke wheels, some with the optional "appearance package" wheels.Last week, I posted v1 of the Registry doc I created. After several updates, attached is v2. These documents were created in Mac Numbers, then exported to PDF and XLSX formats.
I'll continue to monitor several threads, gathering insight and confirming previous entries.
If you see errors with your chassis, have additional information or would like the latest doc, please feel free DM me any time.
Changes made since v1, incorporated into v2:
- Rob_R pointed to a footnote in the order guides. Anyone who chose the Elite Package option received the Security Package as part of that selection. I reviewed and updated the attached to reflect that
- Elite and Appearance Packages were options with the Deluxe (700a) interior. Several chassis, 700a undefined, were reviewed and updated
- Cloth Recaros were available with the 600a interior, leather seats with 700a. These options were reviewed and updated as well
- Several sequential serial numbers highlighted
- The PP and TT chassis are highlighted
- It appears that @Blmarlow purchased Daniel Hill's Mach 1, either direct or through dealer
- Added three to four additional vehicles
- Six in 10 Machs are FJG, Shadow Black, Iconic Silver or Dark Matter Grey
- Twister Orange, Cyber Orange, Grabber Yellow and Race Red were some of the least-selected colors
- Rear Seat Delete is the least-selected option
- "M999" is a Member who registered, but did not offer their chassis number
- "As seen in other threads" is a Member who did not post in the Registry, but was noticed elsewhere
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe all the FJG M1s have the "Appearance Package".@Skye - here is the Bulgarian updates. One number added. All marked in red. I have a bunch more, but I don't have the serials - only the external colors and seats. I keep track of those by their license plate locally, so if I manage to get an idea of the dash number and more details I'll add it.
Yes, correct. The moment you opt for the appearance package, you get the FJG. Wheels however are optional and by default it comes with the 5 spoke onesCorrect me if I'm wrong, but I believe all the FJG M1s have the "Appearance Package".

100% I've seen a couple of Grabber Blue cars with the FJG decals on them, and it looked amazing. The flat black on the hood stripe of the other cars vs the gray on the FJG cars was a small deciding factor when I was looking at them. The flat black on my F150s stripes really discolored over the years and stained to the point where I removed them. Didn't feel like going through that againSpeaking of appearance pack, I believe Ford missed the boat big time on that. They very easily could have made an appearance pack out of all 3 colors of the accent stripe. Red stripe, red calipers, and red stripe on the seat just like the orange, and do the same for white. And they could have let you choose which color appearance pack you wanted. But no, Ford decided to make orange exclusive on FJG and all other colors got either red or white. Imagine a eruption green with a red or orange appearance pack, or a black car with white seat stripe, calipers, and stripe.
Wonder what changing the gloss black on the hood/side stripes to white with the red accent would look like and keeping the flat black in the center...might be too many colors but might be cool too.I have a grabber blue mach 1 with the factory white accent stripe, white stripe on the seats and red calipers. I've thought about repainting my calipers white to match and making my own white appearance pack. And then again I've thought changing out my factory hood and side stripes to red and have the white stripe on the seat replaced with a red one making a red appearance pack.
There are plenty on Facebook that changed out the factory stripes for another color. I've even seen pics of custom ones using colors that was not available from Ford. Grabber blue is one of those colors that look good with all 3 factory stripe colors.Wonder what changing the gloss black on the hood/side stripes to white with the red accent would look like and keeping the flat black in the center...might be too many colors but might be cool too.
I was curious so I had ChatGTP try lolThere are plenty on Facebook that changed out the factory stripes for another color. I've even seen pics of custom ones using colors that was not available from Ford. Grabber blue is one of those colors that look good with all 3 factory stripe colors.
