I didn't install my front HP splitter and just run with the regular Mach 1 splitter, I prefer the cleaner look and much easier to deal with parking curbs and inclines without having to be so careful. I had an 18 GT3 with front axle lift, was just always a pain to have to keep an eye out for potential scrape areas.

I am definitely considering that option too. On my vette I had front cameras that work well for these situations but was still a pain.

Yea I dumped my 19 Bullitt after 7 mos for a 19 GS vette after a casual Saturday test drive of nothing else to do and got bit. 2 yrs later timing couldn't be better as the vette appreciated like crazy due to used car shortages.

If the Bullitt had the tremec and shorter gears we probably wouldn't be having this conversation. I really tried to figure out a way to keep the vette but unfortunately, it want be possible.

I just realized that the chin spoiler will be added on after delivery so I could wait and add it later.

Just read Ford will close plants down for a couple of weeks so it will be interesting if I order how soon or should I say later I would get it. I have a local dealer who is willing to work with me due to past purchases.

Finger crossed this becomes a reality.
Make sure you message @Zach@Granger Ford before you commit to any local deal. There’s a good chance you will save money unless your local dealer is very aggressive

Yes, I have spoken to Zach as well. My dealer seems to think we can make deal close to his and with my trade that will help on taxes too. I have never bought out of state so I am curious what other state fees are involved such as dmv, etc.

As far as I'm aware (and this is my first time buying a new car, and it's from zach, out of state) you finance the car, tax free. When you get the car, you pay your local state taxes on the vehicle at your local department of licensing. Because tax rates differ from state to state, and you're supposed to pay your local tax from where you live. So I dont pay Iowa's tax rate, and I dont get taxed twice. I believe you can finance the tax when purchasing, but I wanted to make the tax part simple for me, so I'll pay the tax when I go to the DoL. Hope this helped. If anyone is more experienced with out of state purchases of new cars, feel free to chime in. I know I definitely dont know all the ins and outs, and hopefully I didnt spread any misinformation, but this is how it goes, to my current knowledge.

Same thing for me. Buying out of state was much easier than I would have expected.

I will definitely weigh all my options before pulling the trigger.

Btw as far as the tires was the tramlining the main reason for going to the larger rear tires? Are you planning to track as well? Thanks!

When I ordered the ps4’s they didn’t make a 315, only a 325. They now offer the 315. Would have preferred to stick with the stock size but I wanted to take off the cup 2’s day 1 because I don’t think they are practical for the street especially where I live as we get a lot of rain and temps are pretty cool.
i wasn’t planning on tracking but as long as my back procedure goes good I’m going to attend the Ford racing track school hopefully this fall and I might get hooked :) I have the cup 2’s in the garage just need a set of lightweight wheels to put them on. I only have one track near me but I’ve heard it’s decent. Even if I could go 1-2 times a year it could be a lot of fun

If this deal happens with Mach 1 I look forward to the FPRS in Charlotte considering it's only 2 1/2 hrs away... I did this back in 2012 (Boss 302) and 2017(gt350) but flying to Utah was a long trip but well worth it. I just regret I didn't get to go to Ron Fellows School (Vette) in Vegas but the pandemic prevented that one.

As far as the HP, I am a little worried about street driving myself as it is strictly a summer tire. I will have to look into the base setup too. Having gone this with the gt350 and GS corvette I totally understand your concerns about street driveablity.
What wheels did you go with?

I wish the Mach 1 school was in Utah lol. I’m in Washington state so North Carolina is about as far as it gets. Still going though
I had the ps4’s put on my factory HP wheels. Drives beautifully with this setup. Even with just a few miles the cup 2’s felt anxious on the street. Maybe it was me that was anxious I don’t know. It just seemed to constantly track every groove in the road and I didn’t find it pleasant to drive. The ps4’s (which are on the base model Mach 1) are great. I would encourage you to get the HP if you think you can live with it. But if not the base Mach is still just as fun I’m sure. I just liked the increased aggressiveness that the HP adds visually. Either setup is 2x the car you can legally use on the street anyway.

The school is well worth the track across the country if it's anything like the school was in Utah. I meet some really nice people that attended and the instructors were first class. I did the Nascar thing and it was a blast so from what I can tell the road course/ track driving will be awesome. I may consider the 2nd track day as well because there is so much to learn which is something I regret I didn't do in Utah.

I think I am pretty convinced about going with the HP. I was more concerned about the chin spoiler originally rubbing my driveway but knowing it's an add-on sealed the deal.

Waiting to hear back on what my dealer will come up with.

I bought the Brijit driveway humps specifically for my Mach 1 HP. I already go in at an angle but this should prevent any scraping at all.

So does the HP lower the overall car? If so anyone know how much lower?
I looked at a 2018 GT 350 and tried to look under the car and noway I was able to gain a look. Im gravitating more and more to picking up a new Mach 1

Would someone with the handling package be willing to do Step 2-the yard stick measurement mentioned here https://www.raceramps.com/trailer-ramps/c/trailer/ ? I'm curious if my current ramps will work with a Mach 1 with HP.
Here is what I have that works well on my Grandsport Corvette which is comparable to the Mach 1 but someone can verify.
