With my current trailer and 2019 PP2, doing the measurement I ended up with the 101-RR-TR-8XL, However, seeing someone's measurement of the splitter height I believe it's a little lower then my PP2. So hopefully someone with a handling package Mach 1 can perform the yard stick measurement to verify.

I haven’t clicked on your link to see exactly what the measurement is but I’ll try to get it tonight

My dealer has an HP coming with cloth Recaro seats. Has anyone ever sat on these? How do they compare?

I believe it’s the same seat. My local dealer had a base Mach 1 with cloth recaros that I sat in. I thought they felt a little tighter on my sides but it could have been the material playing a trick on me. I suspect it was due to my clothes not sliding as freely over the material as leather seats.

I wished they would do the Alcantara seats again like my 12 Boss had and I would probably be all over this. Looks like I will probably order what I want instead of settling for what's available. It will be a long wait but I feel it will be worth it.

I would have liked some alcantara as well. Steering wheel, shift boot, door panels. But definitely order what you want. You will love the car if you spec it to your needs and wants

I have to say I have gone back in forth on options just because I like the looks of the HP but I know I will use it more for just driving purposes so I think this makes sense due to practicality. I suppose I could always by another set of wheels too....haha where does it stop...lol.

If it makes any difference that’s all I use my car for. And I love it. The only drawback I’ve found is having to be extra careful about pulling in to parking lots because of the splitter.

Anyone found a performance winter tire for the cold months? The only one I can find is the pirelli sottozero 2's in 295/30R19 but I think they're discontinued. The one place i found online that had them were $430 a tire (seems marked up compared to $355/tire for 295/35R19 michelin pilot alpin pa4).

Pirelli's dealer finder on their website is broken and defaults to ny, ny no matter what location I put. Guess I'll have to start calling places...

Have you considered a dedicated set of winter wheels? That could open up tire sizes quite a bit for you

I’m trying to avoid significantly decreasing tire width. I only drive the car for pleasure so I’m not willing to sacrifice dry/wet grip.

I decreased width one size down for my previous car’s winter set (pilot alpin pa4) and really wished I had the wider width in non-snow/ice conditions, which is essentially the only driving I will be doing.

Someone did suggest UHP all seasons, but based on tirerack test data with the same tire widths, the only one the fits (cooper zeon rs3-g1 performs worse in dry and wet) than the sottozeros and pilot alpin pa4. That would be more apparent the colder it gets. Multiple review sites also note that the coopers don’t have good turn in feel and feel more like a comfort tire than a performance tire.

Sorry I got busy and forgot to do this. By Saturday afternoon I will get you measurements.

Would someone with the handling package be willing to do Step 2-the yard stick measurement mentioned here https://www.raceramps.com/trailer-ramps/c/trailer/ ? I'm curious if my current ramps will work with a Mach 1 with HP.
I get different measurements based on where along the tire I place the yardstick. From the inside edge of the tire I get a height at 36” of 5.25” on the drivers side. The center of tire is 6.25” and the outside of the tire is 7”. The passenger side measures slightly higher at all three positions. Does this work for you? If not let me know and I can try taking the measurements again.

Thank you very much for doing this. I never thought about measuring in different spots along the tire. I think I just measured from the center but I'll do mine again sometime soon and see what I get doing the same 3 (on each tire) that you did. I had presumed that going with the smallest measurement would be the best option for clearance but RaceRamps didn't have anything to offer for my trailer setup. I have the Ford 5300W Magneride springs on mine and the measurement I got was 5 5/8". Looks like down to 5 1/2" works but not 5 1/4" as you measured. Since it's a small difference (5 5/8 - 5 1/4) there are ways to work around it.

Thanks again.
