Everyone used to have 18+ shafts, in both aluminum and CF for the mt82- d4 and the 10R80. But now there is nothing out there.
I gotcha. That link shows they have some in stock. Maybe JT@Steeda will chime in and confirm availability.

So they're just clearing out current stock and once everything is gone, it's gone? I'd been wanting to pick up a QA1 CF DS for years now...
most are long gone

We bought the last few automatic ones they had for 15 to 25 Mustang that was a month and a half ago

I've had my QA1 CARBON shaft for almost 4yrs. My car is 10r80 and I've put over 50,000 miles on that Driveshaft in Atlanta streets and traffic. I'm by no means gentle with my car ever. It is a very good tough product. I'm glad there are other options out there. My QA1 driveshaft is SFI CERTIFIED(🤷🏾‍♂️)weighs 20lbs vs my stock driveshaft which was 42lbs. Its rated to 1500HP and 1000FT/LBS TQ(Which I'm not even close to!) I can honestly say it's one of my top 3 must have mods. It's one that I felt one of the biggest improvements on. When we first put it in we had horrible vibrations at 60 or better. We reclocked it and its been butter every since!! YMMV!

A guy just sold one in the classifieds a couple months back for like 1400 or something it was dirt cheap and brand new!

would the merger of qa1 and detroit speed and engineering have anything to do with this ?

How bad was the vibration on these QA1 shafts? Is a carbon fiber shaft really necessary or just a want for those, who run them? I’m not judging those that have them, because I was one, who had to upgrade to an aluminum 1 piece.

CF never crossed my mind because I feel that although they’re strong, their integrity can be easily compromised if a rock or piece of road debris bounce up and hits it.
0 vibration/nvh from my qa1 cf driveshaft that was professionally installed.

If I can’t find a QA1 carbon driveshaft , I just might give the GULF COAST CARBON driveshaft a shot.

Probably not a QC issue, rather tje inherent nature of carbon fiber catastrophically failing in this application. CF driveshafts in heavy use age, crack, and break. And when they do under heavy load, it’s ROUGH.

A ginormous liability to offer them when people will sue for everything these days.

Ford offered them for the last 2 generations of gt500.
Be interesting if this continues.

they are focused on suspension, and sold all their equipment.

and alot of them were irs cars and most people with an irs complain once they go to a 1 piece, even theirs, so better just not to worry about it for them.

you can't set a pinion angle on an irs car, the mustang / camaro / hemi guys, probably 50% of the people no matter the brand they buy end up complaining about either nvh or vibration, and swince it's such a small part of their business they chose to just get out of it.
I bought one from you a couple of years ago. Once I did a run out and clocked it to get the smallest run out it has been flawless. Zero vibration at all speeds.

Looking like I’ll have to go with either the gulf coast CF driveshaft or the DSS cf driveshaft.. any recommendations on either one of those two ?

Nowadays DSS is the only company offering a CF driveshaft for us Ecoboost owners. Had ordered a QA1 unit from CJ's months ago and the day after I ordered it I was told they were discontinued. Gulf Coast doesn't have an Ecoboost model only GT and GT350. I'll have to risk the DSS to lose some more weight.
