Well, it is a deal breaker. What good is the car to me if I can't finish a session at Daytona? The 500 has the same problem, same engine and supercharger and same 16 gallon tank.

I'm sure this has come up for discussion before but is there any chance to install a small fuel cell in the trunk? Does that even make sense?

Tob and I bounced this around, and we didn't come up with any options. Besides, shouldn't Ford do that?

A surge tank and/and or fuel cell will require making holes in addition to having some sort of closeout for safety. For the cost of the car, I wouldn’t want to start cutting it or drilling.

To Tom’s point…Ford should be on the hook for it

Agreed. I presume that there has been a conversation with Multimatic about this? It's just a shame that your specific use requirement would prevent you from have this incredible car.

Again, agreed, but I believe that this should have fallen on Multimatic. Tom cannot be the only prospective buyer that would need a slightly larger gas tank. At least make it an option.

Ford was made aware. Personally, I don't think anything will be done. This won't affect most of the people out there.

Dammit Tom, stop trying to use the GTD as Ford and Multimatic designed it! Don’t you know you’re supposed to mothball it or just take it to cars and coffee??🤭🤭
