Thanks for all your opinions. Much appreciated.
no problem!

so do you put your peanut butter one slice and jelly the other, or put the jelly on top of the peanut butter…since we are asking silly questions and all šŸ˜Ž

You made me think of this old school joint called Peanut Butter.

I've had both. My 17 Gt vert had the MT-82 and my mach 1 has the A10. When I bought the mach 1 I wanted the A10 because you could get a software transbrake in the tune. And if you use a competent tuner like Wengerd, the A10 is a great trans. I have long tubes and an H pipe/resonator delete with the factory active exhaust and when you down shift with the paddles it sounds awesome.

How about get what you want and don't worry about what a bunch of randos say. Besides, this question always draws out the passionate MT owners, so the "results" (whatever that means) are always scewed towards manual.šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

P.S. MT all day, every day. 🤣

Last year I bought a 2011 V6 automatic and I love the car! This spring I bought a 2015 GT performance package premium 6 speed, and this is what I wanted to begin with. I really love the car. I still have them both. While installing LTH, 2018 intake manifold, cat back exhaust, one piece alum drive shaft, custom tune, on the GT I still have the 2011 automatic V6 to drive. Best of both worlds!

Depends if i wanted maximum performance or maximum fun. If the former, the auto.

However there's just something so fun about shotgunning that shifter on the 1-2 shift and hearing the tires claw for traction. Or nailing a perfectly double clutched downshift into 2nd and punching the throttle into a corner.

They did mess up the gear ratios a bit on the 18+ models though, i remember driving my cousins 2012 that came with factory 3.73s and that thing was raucous. I'm guessing it was for emissions/avoiding the gas guzzler tax.

Not sure if someone has had or driven both manual & automatic...
People who learned to drive in the USA have all driven automatics.
Eventually I learned to drive a manual transmission, and never went back.

Which one did you look the most for a daily driver?
Every time I drive my parents around in their car, or drive my fiance's car, or a rental, it's an automatic and it reminds me that I don't like them.

I own more than one car and they're all manual.
