I am pretty sure the 350 and 350R will fit so the GT500 steering wheel should though some functions may change or not work.So driving with a 6 speed I’m one handing the wheel all the time. The wheel is too slim and the leather is slippery. Anyone switch to an alcantera wheel? Will the GT500 steering wheel fit?
One of the best creature comfort I made to my vehicle was to replace the leather steering wheel. My new wheel is actually a combination CF (upper and lower) and perforated leather (sides). So driving with a 6 speed I’m one handing the wheel all the time. I'm surprised that something like that is so expensive in the US!I recommend a Beith wheel. https://beithperformanceparts.com/

I could understand it with the carbon parts, but a simple leather cover is supposed to cost almost $800 while losing the heating? 🫣
That must be the "premium" supplier with corresponding surcharge?
Given the prices, I would ask local companies before sending my steering wheel there.
The price includes an OEM wheel base -- you don't send your wheel there.I'm surprised that something like that is so expensive in the US!

Regarding carbon: It looks nice, but you don't want to touch it all day long on a road trip.
It can also be annoying in terms of reflections when made with gloss finish.
I’ve seen a few on eBay for 3-500. Does the mach 1 use a heated wheel? The price includes an OEM wheel base -- you don't send your wheel there.
15-17 Mustangs, GT350s and GT500s do not have a heated steering wheel option. Many people live in a climate where it's not useful, or do not drive their Mustangs in the winter.
If the price isn't for you (or anyone else here) there's imitations on Amazon and eBay for much less that do not use an OEM steering wheel as the base.
How did you get the center nut off the wheel? Use an Impact wrench?I have the GT350R wheel in my car (GT and Mach use the same wheel). It’s a little thicker than our stock wheel but not much. I do love it though. The buttons that come with the wheel are flipped, so you need to swap buttons over from your stock wheel. Otherwise it’s an easy swap.
