I bought my Boss 302 and my 50th anniversary LE at Fairfield Ford from the same salesman. He gave me a great deal on both of them. If interested I could give you his information, let me know.

Anyone have any insights/guesses for what time it might take from ordering 1/5/15, Priority 19? Someone said this was likely an X-Plan. I Googled and that seems to be an Ford employee expedited priority. No idea if that helps my lead time for my Convertible. Any NO. Calif. Convertible owners (or orderers ;) ) on this discussion thread?

I just ordered Monday night. They put down Priority 19, which they said put me at #1. I do not know what that means. I assumed it was salesman speak and didn't put too much weight on it. I ordered from Sunnyvale Ford because they had a Magnetic V6 w/ 051A Group. That's the car I wanted, but wrong color (for me). After they dropped the price $1,200 below MSRP and I still said I really had to have DI Blue, they offered to order for the same price. That made me bite. I probably should have driven back closer to home (I live 30 min north of Livermore) to see if they would match it, But I decided to do the deal there because he had dropped so low for me to try to sell the car they had. He knew I was a cash customer and was going to buy, so I guess he figured he'd take the sale even if profit was minimal.

I bought mine from Marin Ford. Scotty Madia, their Internet sales guy, took awesome care of me. I was in Seattle in mid-November and confirmed the order with him by phone and email on a Saturday. He personally drove the car to my home in SF Sunday evening (about a half hour after I got home) and we did the paperwork on my kitchen counter. I'd already driven a stang at another dealer weeks earlier and knew (in a heartbeat) that this was the car for me. So I only did a cursery drive around a couple blocks with him. If you call him... tell him Jeff in SF sent you.

No Idea on moving an order, but do you mind mentioning who you are working with at S'Vale Ford. I only had interactions with the two sales mgrs, Darron Isbell and Patrick COnnelly. that dealt with me when I ordered 1/5/15. They were both great, low pressure and I ended up with a decent price (4.6% below MSRP on my DIB Convert. V6).
