I'd recommend scoping out a few of the lot options in the area of y'all intend on parking and hanging out in that area. I live in Sf, and I'll tell you know that if the weather is remotely nice that the end point of Fishermans Wharf is going to be a parking nightmare. It will get pack with tourists.

I'm in total agreement with you. Since your familar with the area, do you know of any good spots to end at with some sort of eating venue??

Parking is going to be a hassle however you dice it up in SF. There are parking structures but they are pricey. I pay just for the sake of mind of careless parallel parkers in SF... They like to play bumper cars when parking, jerks... Anyhow What kind of food you thinking. SF literally has anything you want to eat.

Do you know who plans/puts together this event? I assume they have probably encountered this issue before if they have met up at fishermen's warf. Yep, had an 03 Mach some idiot parallel parking hit while I was away. The one nice place I have found to park was inside a pier about 5 blocks from Pier 39. I think it was about $15, but was secure and guarded and indoors.

Nope no clue who hosts this, I'm not associated with it at all. Just trying to give a heads up as I'm a local. Indoor self parks are usually a safe bet.

FYI Dream Machines is this Sunday in Half Moon Bay at the airport guaranteeing Hwy 1 and 92 will be grid locked.
