I would echo look at the harnesses ford PCM does not only retard or fuel cut decel only one bank of cylinders. If you are ok with the car the way it is now then I guess it would be ok. We all don't want to see another guy with a fooked engine because of a general oversight.

Checked wiring, seems to be okay; couldn’t find anything that looked “weird”

did a second crank relearn and went to go get gas (total mileage ~ 20 miles) and did 2 third gear pulls and tried to replicate what I was experiencing.
There were no misfire codes on the SCT nor was there a CEL.
Going to take the car to work tomorrow and will do some more pulls and data logging.

hopefully this is the issue

thoughts?

installer put a new 02 sensor on the driver side and kept the old 02 sensor on the passenger side.
all misfires have been happening on the passenger side........

could this be an issue?

I wouldn't make any changes for now and see if the issue comes back or not. If it comes back, I would consider swapping in a new OEM O2 sensor on the passenger side.

Update:

Didn’t disable the Misfire detection system but did a KAM relearn. Usually after one pull, the CEL flashes and reads P0302 and p0304

went to go drive the car tonight after doing KAM relearn, did one pull, CEL still popped up with p0300. Drove the car for 10 minutes, code went away. Then did another WOT pull…no CEL.
did another WOT pull…no CEL. Did this for 5-6 times and not once did a CEL light pop up or codes pop up on the SCT.

makes me think the car had to erase all of the learned memory?

Thoughts?

Update -

Scheduling the install of the following:

upgraded radiator
thermostat
water pump
ported 2018 intake manifold with IMRC blockouts

ive read in multiple cases where the IMRC broke which causes misfire codes.

if this isnt it, might go ahead and purchase a new engine....lol im jk.....kinda.....

just purchased a FOCUS RS for my daily so this car can sit for a while as we chase this issue

UPDATE

Installing ported intake manifold and IRMC lockouts this weekend.
extremely optimistic that this will help the misfire code go away, i have all of the symptoms of broken IRMC shafts.

small oil leak developed after hard driving, the oil lines to turbos backed out a tad bit and started to leak, this will also be addressed today!

Almost one year later update:

Decided to prepare the car for the next steps....meaning more $$$ dumped....in a good way.

Currently working with dynamic raceworks in West Chester PA to install the following:
Mishimoto aluminum radiator
2018 ported intake
upgraded fuel system
Calimer racing transmission
lund tuning

in the winter i will be going with a texas speed engine as well as bigger turbos.

Were you able to get in any 1/4 mile passes since the install?
