2019 GT 350 with 21k miles. Bought it used with 1500 miles.
Just completed a 2k road trip through NC and TN.
Other than an AC problem it's been super reliable. To me the S550 body design is visually stunning. I've never gotten tired of starting at it. The car feels raw and analog, but still comfortable when cruising in 6th gear on a long road trip. Visibility is great, along with a comfortable cabin size that does not make the car feel huge. Oh, and haven't even mentioned the sound, power, and handling.
Overall very happy with this generation and will not be moving to anything newer.

S550 does the better job of integration imo. The cheap screens in the s650 is a complete deal breaker for me personally. This is my third s550, but none have had many real issues. I have dailies every one of them in central Indiana with zero issues. One had a backup camera recall. The performance the s650 seems to be gaining from tunes does not seem worth the cost to me. I feel like these two cars will come down to personal preference on looks. If I move on from my current GT, there are only a few options I’d consider. Someone else’s already boosted s550 or a GT350.

I picked my 2016 GT Premium Convertible in 2019. Still had a touch of factory warranty left on it which fixed my AC condenser, a window and the door randomly unlatching. I ended up having my cam phasers go bad at about 64,000 miles. That fixed and some cosmetic upgrades and I'll never leave my car.

Lets say looks, 2ndhand prices, mechahnically and overall

The novelty of the new look has worn off for me and im kind of preferring the s550 look, the s650 look is more aggressive but tamer at the same time.

Prices i think long term the s550 will hold up stronger than average cars

In my neck of the woods.
The bullits are only commanding too much of premium which surpirses me but mach1s are. (We dont have gt350/500s here)

As an approximation only. What would the market value be for my 2017, GT Premium, 6 spd, PP1 pkg. Black on black. 26K miles. Clean Carfax. Heated/cooled seats. MBRP cat back with H pipe. Roush CAI. Shelby GT Alcantra steering wheel. Shelby GT rear spoiler. After market wheels/tires and the OEM PP1 tire/wheels ?
I'm thinking of selling it. To many toys, this one just sits most of the time.
Thank you.

Bought it new in 8/2018 - rearview mirror plastic cover popped off once when I was removing a parking tag, new battery last year. That's it- it's never been back to the dealer once. Four times to local repair shops for tires/wheels, MO safety inspection. Mine has been pretty flawless going on 25k miles.

Other than a dead battery replaced after two years under warranty, my 2023 Mach 1 continues to delight and look great doing it.

‘16 GT bought new in Fall of ‘15. 167K miles, bad AC condenser around 50K, backup camera recall around 120K. Brakes replaced at 130K and just had front tie rods replaced at 160K. Center console leather cracking underneath my elbow spot and steering wheel getting shiny. Other than tires and oil, the rest has been great.

Best looking Mustang! Won’t buy the Mustaro.

2017 black California Special. Coming up on 73,000 miles and generally every day driver. Doing a 2nd extended warranty. A little gun shy after having the evaporator go out in 2020 a few weeks after factory warranty expired but talked myself into the extended warranty about two weeks before.

Left rear speed sensor/bearing and the intake manifold runner issue.
So far so good now.

We’ll be keeping it unless a GT 350 appears but for every day this one is perfect.

My ‘18 GT is aging like fine red wine, only 14,250 miles, no issues. It’s a manual and just love the physical connection to the road when driving this car, it’s amazing!

OK, wrong choice of words. To me the 550 looks better. I do like the rear end of the 650's when I first saw them online, but in person the dimensions just look off. To bulky, angular or something. The 550 has the perfect mix of curves and angles.
Some guy said S650s are sexier and have better hips. I said I'm not looking it have sex with a car. That's just one of the little things a wife provides.

Picked up a new '22 leftover in April '23. About to hit 39,000 miles trouble free!

I bought my '19 GT Premium used in 2020 with 18k miles. It's now got 78k. It's not my daily but it's been on lots of road trips. The only issue I've had was rear differential whine that required gear replacement, but it was covered under the powertrain warranty at the time. The engine is bone stock but I've had fun with suspension, exhaust, and cosmetic mods.

I'm at the point where I'm considering getting something else within a few months, but it won't be an S650, lol. The front end of the S650 has grown on me but the price and the screens on the dash make it a no go. I'm leaning towards a used Mach 1, and I might even look at Boss 302s. As a "driving toy" I don't care that much about the primitive interior of the Boss and as I get older it's probably a car I would enjoy more taking to Cars and Coffee.
