Trivia? I suppose. Can we tour to see Mustangs built? I don't know. Has anyone seen a tour or museum? Was it fun and worth it?

Long story: The Army sent me to Fort Campell, KY (Air Assualt!). When my wife and I were dating, I asked her that since we saw a music museum in Nashville, if we could go to Bowling Green and check out the Corvette musuem. I got a thrill from that. Every generation, GT1, GT3, and other variations. I got in for free for being Military! So if I could see something like that but for Fords, I'd be stoked.

I think there'a a little more to this answer. If I remember correctly a lot of the parts are made out of country. One that comes to mind is the steering wheel is made in mexico. However, the car is assembled in Flat Rock.

A lot of the parts are actually made in Mexican factories? I saw a Youtuber go to Detroit and they showed the Coyote being hand built by Americans.

Yes - lots of components are made globally. Engine isn't an entire car. And imagine this - transmission (MT-82) is made in China !!!

I understand that the engine is not the entire car. I am in disbelief of how the car isn't inherently American.

It is the modern supply chain in it's "finest". I work for aircraft engine maker (has been for ~20 years), you don't want to know how many of the components are made elsewhere. This is normal, I'd be surprised to see any piece of modern machinery that is in serial production that is entirely made to every single little piece in US. Ford makes these cars to turn profit on them.
