Lets say looks, 2ndhand prices, mechahnically and overall

The novelty of the new look has worn off for me and im kind of preferring the s550 look, the s650 look is more aggressive but tamer at the same time.

Prices i think long term the s550 will hold up stronger than average cars

In my neck of the woods.
The bullits are only commanding too much of premium which surpirses me but mach1s are. (We dont have gt350/500s here)

The Bullitts and Mach 1s are holding up very nicely. But then most of them are kept in garages. I seen a 2022 Mach 1 for sale with barely 12,000 miles for $54,000. Most of the GTs had 50,000 - 80,000 miles on them.

My 2023 has 17.385 miles. It does stay in its garage home, it is my daily though I am retired.

Big Bird (2015 GT premium convertible) had 51k miles when we grabbed her used in 2020. We had to deal with a couple of the teething issues with "new model/first year" stuff. But she has generally been quite reliable.

She was a daily driver until last December, when I started working from home. Currently at 117k miles and doing fine. Like almost all cars, we were able to take advantage of the depreciation hit when we bought her. Buying during the pit of the Covid pandemic didn't hurt either.

I actually prefer the gen 1 S550's for looks, even with the somewhat lower HP. Truly a beautiful Mustang in my book. Liked my S197 too; harkened back to 1969 (my first Mustang). But the S550's are, to me, just a rolling work of art.

Would I buy her again? You betcha.

2020 GT 6 speed, daily driven thru Cleveland winter, almost 40k miles now. Car was delivered to me Nov 2019.

Still looks amazing, but I put a lot of work into keeping it nice. Frequent under sprays in the winter time to blow off the salt seems to be working great. I have probably the best detailer/touch up guy you could ask for, car is ceramic coated and was recently paint corrected and polished too for the 3rd time in its life.

Value seems to be low 30ks these days. Dealership offered me 28k without looking it over last oil change.

I haven't had a major issue in 2 years or so now. My steering rack went bad. Had a wheel bearing go bad at 7k miles. Had a caliper stop working well with the parking brake replaced, now the other side is doing it too.

I plan on keeping it for at least another 3 years.

My 3yr old Mach1 has 26k miles on it, it sleeps at the airport parking lot 14 nights or so a month, the rest of it’s in the garage. Ready to do transmission fluid change at 30k since it’s a A10 and want to prevent wear and tear as much as possible.

I also doubt this car will get to 10yrs with minimal maintenance, so I got the extended warranty till 100k/10 yrs in march. But overall is a great car and I really like it.

I bought my car second hand and have owned it for 6 years. I have no plans to sell it, as it's my retirement toy. Now and then I'll get an email from carfax or the dealership I bought it from, and they say the resale value is around $15k. The mileage is under 90k.

My 16 GT had the AC condenser go but other than that she's been pretty awesome for 9 years now. Garage queen with zero rust and 29k miles she'll be my last Muscle car. Pretty much stock except exhaust, hood struts, catch can and a radar detector. Just the way I want it.

Condenser or evaporator? I didn't think condensers on these had issues?

So I'm about 6yrs with 45k on it. Driven every day.

Leather on steering wheel is starting to split.
Leather on seats is cracking
Black coating on the steering wheel buttons is starting to flake off.

Planning to replace all 3, but really those are minor things, but not things I expected to having issues only ~6yrs in. My 2003 Mach1 didn't have these issues even after 8yrs and 60K.

Mechanically I had the ebrake level replaced, thats about it.

Aging just fine for me at 10 years and counting.

I still admire the looks of it, and the performance is more than adequate with the mods I've made. Mine might even crack 15K miles this month if the weather cooperates. :)

Zero reason or desire to upgrade to an S650.

Mine was an early retirement gift/toy for me. 6 years old with 2,800 on the clock. Simple mods, window ceramic tint, exhaust resonator delete, Steeda clutch line and tranny rear support. Yep, it's never been wet, except first wash at the dealer, always garaged and covered. Never meant to be a daily driver for me. Oh, to answer the OP's thread question, my car seems frozen in time, March, 2019. 🙂
