The Darkhorse engine has two throttle bodies, A steel oil pan, Revised camshafts, Connecting Rods from the Predator Engine, and some other small revisions.

Minus the intake manifold and throttle bodies, a Darkhorse long block would be a nice upgrade in a Mach1

Spoke with LMR, but they said it may fit, but they weren't sure. I believe they said the Mach 1 has the GT350 or GT500 intake. The who deal for the car only costed 20+Gs. It has 2,000 miles on this engine. Had to have it for the Tremec. Couldn't find a DH Tremec anywhere. Now my cousin is selling his DH Premium. When he can no longer drive he wants his daughter to have an automatic for drag racing. She has a 24 600A Tremec. That's her baby.

Taco Bell's quesadillas don't taste any different than my wife's, her mother's, or any other Mexican restaurant. Tortillas Monterey Jack and green salsa. No different than any restaurant. Nice thing is they don't play Oompah music that blares so loud that you have to tell when you talk.

That would be a good analogy if I said it was unnecessary to buy a fast car, but I just said your justification was unusual (IMO). I just don't have any acquaintances who need a fast car because of their line of work.
