Definitely sick of the winter wonderland here in Minnesota. It's a long time until April. So envious of those who can drive thier cars year-end.

So here I sit on another cold February night, thinking that it’s still another 4–6 weeks till taking off the cover.

After over three years of ownership, most of the mods that I wanted to do are done. Contemplating if I want to do anything else or not.

Probably the most likely is installing the shaker hood, although I still give that maybe a 50/50 shot at best.

I have had five Mustangs and always wanted to put on a supercharger, and that is still a possibility, but not for a few years due to the cost.

Last summer, I also toyed with changing the color scheme to purple, it’s my favorite color and I Photoshopped what it may look like. That also would be pricey, and I think the stripes would be tough to make happen without looking tacky. The seats would be easy but expensive, and the calipers would be cheap, but annoying and time-consuming to repaint.

Guess that’s all, just wanted to post something because I am so tired of sitting here without being able to do anything with my baby. I know it’s still drivable in winter, but I really love keeping it looking as new as possible and that will always trump the feeling of looking at it under a cover.
I am on my fifth Mustang as well. I have not supercharged any of them and it is not a matter of money which fortunately I’ve always had, it is about breaking the car and having to put a lot more money into it to fix it. This is my last chance really with this M1 when I get to Florida. I’m really considering doing a Whipple or an ESS.

Thanks man!
I was a hater of the touchscreens but damn I was wrong. Pretty cool tech
I will miss my Mach 1 but I will not miss the 10-speed at all. Only reason I did this today. Hopefully all the technology doesn’t bite me in the ass!

The 24's are starting to grow on me, but I can't get past being locked out of the PCM. It's been 2 years and they still haven't unlocked it yet. I like modifying my vehicles and sometimes that entails tuning and other engine/transmission mods. On the 24's you have buy a 10K supercharger first to get it unlocked before you can do any power train mods. I don't want to spend 10K first just so I can tune my car or throw on a set of headers.

Fear not, you have 100% done the right thing!

The Mach 1 is a wonderful car in every respect. I’ve owned three of them and loved them.

Having said that the DH may be the best car I’ve ever driven. Especially a ‘24 at a good discount to boot.

And the white looks great!

So I thought about that a lot since I had Livernois and then Wengerd tunes on my Mach 1 and on my 15 GT I had Ford performance, then Steeda tunes so plenty of experience with tunes.
I feel with the manual, tuning is less important since now I'm in control.
Hopefully they will unlock soon, I think Wengerd is very close from recent videos on his FB page

Dude, Premium DH for $63k was a steal. Got $40k for my 4 year old Mach 1 premium that I got for $56,500 before the Covid price hike of $4k
I'm Smitten
I lost a bunch on all my mods but that's what we do right... lol
