A friend of mine from my fourwheeling days joined us to tackle the Rubicon trail long ago. He had California plate FAKRWEE as in , "where the f* are we?" as an inside joke for him having the reputation for often getting lost on the trail. It was originally rejected; then he told the approval board that was the name of his native American indian tribe and it was racist to deny the plate. They approved it. For all I know, he still uses that plate.

He later inducted me as an honorary member of the tribe after I got a group lost leading a 4x4 run in Moab while trying to use GPS coordinates to follow the trail. My tribe name is "Chief GPS'um and Still Lost".

Loved living in Central VA myself, never realized they were such plate nazi’s though 😆
Central VA is probably infinitely better and more in touch with reality than Northern Virginia.

When I read the thread title I wondered why the Veterans Administration would possibly care what his tag said 🤔.
When I read the thread I was pretty convinced the OP was just submitting requests to pull their chain.
Personally I don't have any desire for a vanity tag for a DD. Maybe because here it's an annual fee and I already pay enough money to the government...

I still can't believe they let this one through. ;) A big v-twin of course.

Very Nice!! Out of all the bikes I've sold I probably miss the Superhawk the most. Best sounding bike I've ever had. Coincidentally also the thirstiest bike I've owned...

Honestly……..Every person i met when living there, and i quote, felt that anything north of route 3 (Fredericksburg) should be “cut off and be given to D.C.” 😆

Everyday is a new reason to hate Virginia. (Maybe you like VA but personally I'd rather live inside an elephant corpse left in the sun)

To be totally fair....I can understand to a degree why my personal plates get rejected. Currently at 6 rejections.

Most recent: BL0-J0B (because I'm blown) made sense to me...what's the issue 😂

Other rejections: VA SuX, NoVa Sux, go2 H311, UR-Trash. Next up I'll try 3ATSh1T

Anybody here have a smart ass plate they snuck past state hired Nanny's?
Snowfox, man when I ordered my vanity plates all I wanted was something with the number "69" in it. For instance, like TED69. They kept rejecting all my versions with 69 in it. Finally I called and they told me that I can only have 69 on my plate if my car is a 1969 car. EDIT: I also asked the lady to explain what the problem was with "69". That was a fun conversation. lol. I was like, dang man, really. What if I was born in 69? Nope. Can't do that either. No 69 for me!!!

So I sixty-nine'd them with math....

My Jeep plate is ROKWLKR

Haha love the plate! You got a live person on the phone? That's amazing. I just get on hold till the line goes dead

Yeah, I was getting frustrated because they weren't indicating why they kept rejecting my plate requests. So I called.
