Auto doors locks arrrrggghhhh!!!

I hate hate hate this feature...I drop off and pick up my wife and daughter every day, and they can't get in or pop the trunk from the outside (without me unlocking).

I've seen a youtube vid by Ford and a post of F150.net on how to disable them, but the procedure doesn't seem to work on my car....I can't seem to get it into programming mode.

Any advice?

I live across from Detroit, not in Detroit. I'd prefer to lock my doors myself when driving into a sketchy neighbourhood. 99% of the time the feature is a pain in the arse.

That refers to auto-unlock, which might unlock the trunk for my daughter to get her backpack when I drop her off at school. I'll try that at least.

But I'm referring to auto-lock, which automatically locks the doors (and trunk) when vehicle speed exceeds 20 km/h.
