My Mach 1 is listed at dealership

I’m genuinely curious…why would someone “upgrade” to an inferior product? The Mach 1 is superior to the Dark Horse in almost every way, except for the rear brake calipers.

Reminds me of my buddy “upgrading” from his iPhone 13 Pro to an iPhone 14 Pro.

As I presume you have own/owned both please explain the inferiority of the Dark Horse (cost aside as it doesn’t pertain to the car itself).

Holy hell, that Blue one... Every part from typing in Mach 1 on ebay along with Autozone. The wheels are missing the spinners though. And no Lambo doors...

That's a nice car and a sweet deal! I had to travel from Atlanta to Tennesse to find my '23 earlier this year. I would have jumped all over this one if it had been available then. BTW if you haven't already, please post your thoughts on the differences between the M1 and your new Dark Horse.

Where in Tennessee did you find one? I was looking at a dealer earlier this year in Tenn. Found one in Orlando with less than 300 on the clock.

I love my Mach 1 but people just love to hate on the S650. Its pretty stupid, I am happy the S650 is offered, where is the challenger or Camaro? They were thrown in the dumpster (6 cyl challenger don't count).

Dark horse is by no way "inferior" its just different in some ways..... And then of course the price comes up, My Mach 1 is priced very similarly to a dark horse only Dark horse has options that make it expensive (like the Carbon Fiber Wheels )

I was looking at a collector car dealer. It had about 50 miles on it but they wanted full price. I offered $55k but they told me no way. They sold it for $54k. Go figure.

I upgraded from a IPhone SE to a 15. After two updates the d—m thing is smarter than me.

It’s a 130 pounds heavier overall, it has a silly name, a tv screen instead of gauges or even something close, it isn’t a Mach 1 and it represents the Mustangs shift from a singular iconic product into a homogeneous category for the purposes of marketing. Other than that, it’s a nice effort.

None of those things make it inferior, just different. And who’s to say there will not be another iconic product I.e. “Boss”, or Shelby. The Dark Horse is an entirely new model. Nothing wrong with that.
