This weekend the Mach 1 officially went into storage for the Winter. I did tuck it in for the long slumber using the fitted cover I got a great deal on thanks to the parts listing that @Schwerin put together in the forums sticky. I didnt even realize I had $250 in Ford Points so it only cost me $50.

I also picked up some HP Wheels and have them all staged and ready to go for the spring.

Today I added a little bit of colour into the cabin

I love the work of the trim on the center console and doors, nice work!. Mind sharing what you used for this? I have the same orange interior and color matching is a challenge.

Switched to the ford performance spoiler tonight.. Can’t believe how great it looks. Now I can sleep at night! The car is complete.

For now LOL..... I can relate And it looks great, I love the HP swing... I keep the gurney flap on mine, as ridiculous as it is, it looks cool

Mine is not on yet either as it’s now my daily driver after I got rid of the ‘19. Once I get to Florida and I’m working from home it goes right on.

Mine was on when I bought it and I haven't taken it off I have put over 4k miles on mine in less than 4 months, you would think I would take it off as much as I drive it... They say it robs a couple MPG, I do concur this car is WAY thirstier than my 22 GT with the 10 speed was... Like 6-8 MPG less...

But then again, the Mach is the only one with the Gas Guzzler Tax when new, so I guess it's not completely unexpected

I think the lightweight Velgens I had on the 18 helped the avg mpg.

I'll also add that each car has been progressively slower by seat of the pants. The 18 was stupid quick for being all stock with a res delete. But also the lightest of the 3.

All were manual trans. The clutch and shifting in the Tremec are better than the M-82. But I actually much prefer the D4 gearing over the Tremec. A lot.

Yeah I got mid 20s on the highway in my 22 GT. 10 speed car. Even with headers and a tune, it got better mpg and quicker. But the tremec Mach 1 is so much more fun to drive, even at 16 mpg.

The Mach will get in the 20s at interstate speeds, but when I get back in town it starts falling off significantly lol
