My business partner / crew chief is Brian at Finishline Performance. He can handle all the install needs and i can help with the parts. We have guys from all over the US, Canada, and Mexico that ship cars to us to have done.

For a tt set up, i would recommend the hellion or aldo kit. if you went single i would do bl fab. they all make great kits. feel free to DM or call with any questions. 855-827-7223
Appreciate it - let me get a few things together and call around. Youll hear from me

I think your making a big mistake going with a big single on a stick car. You seem to like going against conventional wisdom and doing your own thing which is great. I just hope your not disappointed after spending another $15k.
I sure hope it works out well for normal street use. I don’t street race, so I won’t be looking to jump into boost that often in that setting. I know it should perform very well on track though. I’ve seen video of a few stick cars running mid 8’s on a single.

Twins absolutely no doubt, 1000%, no question, not even a thought, dont even ask. Single if you are class racing, I can see that.

I’m not sure if I missed your post but at your target hp of 1k you may consider a built transmission (Calimer)

Or, a T56 Magnum swap. Finish Line recently installed a T56 on my 22’.

I’m just thinking you may want a better gearbox to support all that power…

Brenspeed is great.

However, my personal shop is Finish Line. Bryan is a wizard. Also, when/if you need to buy parts, reach out to @beefcake and he will get you squared away.

Beefcake and Finish Line are connected. Best pricing and customer service for both parts and installation.

Cheers!
I’ll second that between Beefcake and Brian at finish line they did me right. I shipped my car from MO to them.

If your goal is low boost and looking cool at car shows, the top mount is fine. There are significant back pressure issues with the top mount kit which is why you will see more sleeper kits. The sleeper kit also keeps that crazy heat out of the engine bay and down where the cats were, where it's designed for heat.

If your a turbo noise/car show guy, the high mount kit may be for you.

What is the cause of the pressure issues on the top mount? Seems like if it a design issue, that could be fixed easily.

Don't get me wrong, I'm exaggerating some, but they do have backpressure and valve float issues sooner than the lowmount kits. There is a lot more piping and bends with the high mount kit, I think the downpipes are also significantly more restrictive. They had to make the packaging work in a fairly tight engine bay.

I'm not real familiar with hellions top mount kit. Looks like stock headers with adapters that loop back up to the front. Then of course the downpipes as you mentioned.
