Switched to 295/35 19s and 305/35 19s PSSs from 305/30 and 315/30 PSC2s - better fender fill and goodbye tramlining

HUGE difference in how the car performs/rides. The absence of super-aggressive tramlining make this seems like a different car. I also like how the wheel well is more filled out:

I have a Mach 1 with HP and was looking to run 285/35/19 in front and 295/35/19 rear both to combat the tramlining but also cost on tires. My issue is that the selection so so small at that size tires. Might just copy your set up if it cuts down on freeway tram lining

It really sucks these sizes limit you to the nittos or michelins only.

The 35 aspect at these widths just look so much beefier (and better in my humble opinion) than 30s do!

If Michelin would do a PS4S in these sizes i would be personally overjoyed.

Take a look at Conti ExtremeContact Sport 02. Running 275/35/19 front and 295/35/19 rear and it’s been perfect. Great tires.

Even if you would have stayed with stock sizes just getting rid of the PSC2S would have fixed the tramlining.

Looks wonderful, what are your widths?

The GT350 wheels are 10.5/11.

I could certainly do 285/295 up front and the 295 in the rear.

The other part of this is the actual extra cost of sticking to factory sized PSS at ~$400 a pop (these have gone down since I’ve last looked!), vs the continentals (~350/~400 a piece).

I might be out “only” (I’m not a rich man) an extra $100-$150 for Michelin PSS in the “correct” sizes.

Edit: I’m an idiot I see the 19x10/11 in your signature.

I stayed with stock size PS4S's on my 350R on aftermarket wheels that were stock size and tramlining is completely gone. Just use my Carbon wheels and Cup2's for autocross where they excel!
