I want an intake pretty badly. I miss having a car that makes noise. This thing is too quiet...

I like FFTec's, I'm sure Cobb's is going to be nice. I'm also interested in JLT's, Full-Race (I'm sure they'll release one), ATM, Steeda, etc...

I figured this is inexpensive enough and from a place that really does look like quality work that I'd give it a shot also yeah this car is sooo quiet. When I drive the mustang for a bit I think this makes some good noise with the exhaust... Then I drive the Camaro and realize this car is still almost silent. lol.

lol.. I pulled the fuse for the Amp and drove the car when it had stock exhaust and noticed no difference at all. Its actually nice having the auditory sound (when I can hear it) when switching the profiles on the cobb tune as well.

Got a call from Anthony from FFTec yesterday regarding my order to let me know the website photo was of a pre production piece and the actual CAI is like the photo on this thread and that it would be shipping next week. Very good service thus far. can't wait to get my hands on it.

Also is it possible to have a different flange welded onto the hot pipe for an aftermarket bov, like hks or tial?

The intercooler includes two lower pipes which mates with the stock intercooler piping system OR our upgraded chargepipe system; including the EFR turbo. The outlet pipe is provisioned with a mount/adapter for the Charge Pressure Sensor mounted on the factory IC.

We have the ability to offer a different flange option for your application, but we are not currently provisioned for it. What option would the community be interested in?

Also keep in mind that the COBB AccessPort has the ability to eliminate CEL caused from the removal of the factory electronic diverter valve; if you are still weighing out options for your calibration solution still. Contact me for excellent AP pricing if we package any of our engine components with an AP!

I plan to have a comprehensive post up later this evening about intercooler options we will be offering; including more data! Was hoping to have it up last night .. but came in to the shop this morning on a mission!

I may order one of these intercoolers on Thursday. I am torn on my next mod....downpipe or intercooler. I am doing one at a time, tuning and racing for results.

We have DP's too!! But, ABSOLUTELY intercooler. It is a necessity.

Nice!! I look forward to seeing the Data. I'd love to go with an HKS valve and "because racecar" the Garrett core. I don't plan on pushing the car to insane power levels but Plans change and I don't want to have to buy it again.
