I was hoping to get some help. I have a 2015 GT and just got my Whipple stage one in the picture yesterday you’ll see what I ordered. I do have an UPR oil, Catch can for Whipple superchargers. I’ve read some conflicting comments about the Whipple tune. I would like some clarification if someone can help me. I only put about 1800 miles a year on My mustang. It’s just on weekends with no rain. I do not race or Drag. it’s just something me and my 2 boys go out and have a little fun and then park it. The only modifications I have on the GT currently are Corsa extreme exhaust with no cats. looking for most reliable tune that won’t stress out the engine too much but I can still have some fun. Thank you any help would be appreciated. Just trying to do it right the first time because I’m not a rich man. This has been a two year process and a dream. I’ve had three mustangs over the last 30 years and they’re getting so expensive now I don’t think I’ll ever buy another one and I’m in my mid 50s and have to put the boys threw college in 10 years and this is my last little project.

Whipple’s tune for your setup will be fine.

Thank you there’s a lot of conflicting information about the Whipple tune. I’ve been told as long as I don’t go out, race it or drag it That the addition of the Whippo won’t really hurt the lifespan of the car as long as I do my regular maintenance. I appreciate the input and have a good day. Nice Mustang by the way.

Yea, you will spend another $1000 or so when it comes to buying a tuning device and then getting an aftermarket tune
Thank you and you’re probably right I do already have an SCT tuner, but I’ve been thinking about a Lund tune but not sure yet because I don’t need to go overboard just wanted to run correctly

The whipple tune I hear is concervitive and sounds like it would do you well. I had to go with a tuner due to E85 otherwise I would have gave it a chance. So far, my whipple starts and idles the same as stock which is great.
Good Luck and Enjoy

youre going to leave some power on the table on the whipple tune being your dont have cats and will still go into cat overtemp mode. other than that the whipple tune is fine
