Took it to dealer for intake manifold runner valve stuck open message. All new intake manifold replacement required it will be here in 3 days. only 11,600 miles.

As one whose GT350 spent various months at the dealer waiting for whatever, I have two comments:

1. That's why we have factory warranties.

I wonder if GT500s or Maxh 1s w handling pack w heavy wings have different trunk struts over the cars w smaller wings ...

I actually have the track pack gt350 wing on mine. The steeda struts I installed are the No wing / small wing version

Oh ok, mine are heavy wing version. Maybe I can send them back and get your style. Since they damaged my car, actually 2 diff cars. Same spot*

Is it possible that one of the struts is defective, causing one to work harder. Having one strong and one weak could cause misalignment issues similar to what you are seeing.

Not that this is your situation, but as a FYI, if a person had 2 Mustangs and ordered a strong set, installing one strong one on each of the cars (thinking they could have the best of both worlds for the price of one) that could set up a person for potential failure due to resulting twisting.

Installed BMR jacking rails and finally put on the handling package wheels. Decided to go with pilot 4S instead of the cup 2s. My next mod might be kooks catless headers by lethal and steeda x/h pipe but not to sure how I can avoid getting a CEL.

I didnt have 1 strong one and 1 stock one, is that what you mean???

Yep! As I said it may not have been your situation, but I wanted folks who may be tempted to try struts of different strengths to know the risk.

1000%.. Agreed!!!! BTW- I called up steeda and sent them the pics. We see now, Hopefully they will send me new struts since i bought a month ago and i willl install on Mach. If same thing happens, im calling it a day, going back to stock struts and retouching up that area, DONE!!!
I did a p/N check and GT500 cars w wing and gurney flap have same # as regaulr stangs. There is no differnece from ford. I was going to buy them from ford if there was a diff.

I bought the heavy version when I had the small wing on. Had no issues at all, apart from the fact that they were so strong that when the trunck pops out it may chop your head off.
Later installed the big wing - no issues at all as well. I think Steeda had some alignment video how to fix lid alignment issues. Last but not least, how do you close the lid? Using one hand and pressing not in the center may twist when closing...

Not what I did. What someone else did.

So, after 3 days of watching camera footage from my office, which can just barely see across the street to the garage, and picks up audio.

We have video of two guys removing the cover and trying the handles satuday night then leaving. we have them on video trying handles all throughout the garage for an hour or so.

And we found video of 4 guys doing the above damage to the car at 1:38 PM in the middle of the afternoon on Sunday. We have two of them leaving and passing directly underneath a much closer camera. and have an idea where the other two headed to get those camera feeds pulled and try to identify them.

Local PD has a few officers dedicated strictly to vehicle break ins (kinda kills people wanting to come downtown and spend money if they have to worry about car being broken into or stolen) and they intend to charge with felony vandalism.
