No those bulbs won’t work in our headlights.
Thanks for the clarification Bryan and so much for DD's site because the product search was based on 2020/Ford/GT500..duh.

But if my feeble memory is correct, to make the swap requires bumper cover removal, yes/no?

You can get at them from inside the fender well. Either remove the splash guard completely, or just enough to get your hands up in there. Taking the wheels off and pulling them down enough to get in there is what I do because you will need to move a bracket as well. All simple work, albeit it takes a little time. I do prefer it to taking off the front bumper cover though.

I already had my bumper off for intercooler and piping swap (ecoboost) so I just pulled the headlights off and swapped them for my GT500 units (same headlight but my Shelby units had PPF installed previously). The bulb swap is easy but the little plug is kind of a PITA as there’s not much room to get your fingers in there and fish it into place. Yes it can be done the way Jamie mentioned but if your have bigger hands it might create some colorful words from your mouth 🤣

Thanks a bunch, Jamie. I couldn't remember from previous posts whether the cover had to come off or not. With that out of the way, now it comes down to $$$. :=)

Jamie and I are both short chidts Brian but I can imagine the blind "fishing," thanks for the tip. <grin>

Lethal Performance posted pics
I did see those, I just want more confirmation, for or against, is all. Trying NOT to do anything more to my money pit. That said, I also like shiny new things (it's a constant struggle). Hoping more pictures talk me out of it, haha.

Ditto, the 15-17 lights are boring. I replaced my GT500 lights with the Alpharex Nova Black lights. Nice modern look but still has the tri-bar DRLs. I’m looking to do the same to my 2017 EB Vert, but for now I’m just going with Diode Dynamics 6000K bulbs to see if it helps at night.
The big issue for me with the factory lights was the chrome in the housing clashing with everything else. Luckily there are options for fixing that. Doesn't necessarily help those with light output issues, but mine doesn't see much driving at night anymore anyway.

So, you painted the chrome to match? I really like the way it looks, Kyle.
My buddy's shop does custom headlights. Color matched portions, blacked out amber reflector, acid etched the snake logo onto the projector. Even with packaging and shipping to South Carolina and back in an egregiously oversized and padded box it was still less than aftermarket lights.

Truth in advertising eh, Brian? <smile>

Compared to the new Morimoto's, I agree.

I love them Jared and I'm waiting for the night photos. Are they noticeably brighter and do they reach out further than the OEM 2015-2017 lamps?

But HS, TWELVE HUNDRED BONES?! I gotta think long and hard before spending that many pesos on headlights. <smile>
They are giving a $485.00 rebate when you sent in your old headlights!!!
