I wouldn’t want to part with the stock headlights in case I ever wanted to reinstall them.

After you install the "NEW" LED lights, you will never go back to the original "HID" lights!!!

I agree with you, but I can assure you that it will reflect negatively upon resale. Headlights are a subjective visual upgrade and the majority of people will want the factory supplied headlights.

Let's be honest, I will probably never let go of this car, so I will never put them back in. That said, I would rather leave the option there for my kids in the future.

Not saying it will happen to these particular headlights, but there are plenty of issues noted on this forum as well as other forums/groups with aftermarket headlights and taillights. Water intrusion, condensation, etc. Always good to keep the OEM’s on hand as a backup, just in case.

My headlights arrived today. Funny thing is there was no indication that they shipped, they just showed up, much to my surprise.

The plan is to do the install this weekend with my 14 y/o daughter, so I hope to have install pictures to share. Looking forward to the time spent with her, and the enjoyment of working on my car.

I have not finished the install, but I was able to capture a video of each of the four modes of operation.

Here is a short video of the white DRL lights with “fade -off” turn signals

Here is the video of the white DRL lights with sequential turn signals

Here is the video of the amber DRL lights with “fade off” turn signals

Finally, here is the video of the amber lights with sequential turn signals

I hope to finish this weekend and get more pictures, but here is what I got so far.

I am so envious, how did she do? <smile>

As for the Morimottos, my first choice is white with amber sequential turn signals and I love the look of that triple lens setup.

Well done, brother.

She did great! I had a blast and I let her do all of the hardware removal, and she helped just about everywhere else. She even sat in the car and turned the lights and hazards on/off for the reference videos I recorded.

Yup, thats the setup I chose as well.

The blinkahs are amber, no matter the color plug used, so you only get to decide between white or amber DRL, and if you want sequential or what they call "fade-out" blinkah function. What they call fade-out, the rest of us call normal blinkah operation.

When I eventually get these (a little too busy with other projects right now) I'll be going with the same setup, white DRL's and sequential blinkers. The thing is, I already have Morimoto LED sequential amber blinkers below so not sure how it will look having two sequential's on each side. I doubt they will be blinking sequentially at the same speed. I may have to run the blinkers in the headlights in the fade mode so it won't look odd. 🤷

Yeah, just play with the different options before you put the bumper cover back on. With a little luck they will blink simultaneously. You may even decide to put the factory blinkahs back in.
