The LE’s are numbered and are true limited editions so I do jest a little bit. But yeah, just paint and wheels and badges. Would be nice if they did some power adder or something for the LE’s…

I’m guessing it’s the high horsepower model S650. Whether they use the Cobra name, GT500 (sounds doubtful) or some new name like they did with DH remains to be seen. Some of the YouTubers and “influencers” that claim they have inside info are saying Cobra but who knows. Pretty much all of them were wrong when Dark Horse rolled out LOL.

1999 was a struggle bus year for the Cobra.

A local dealer told me that they heard that it might be a Boss or Shelby variant. What that means is anyones guess.

The new addition, while silhouetted as a S650, could have been a decoy. Some speculated anything from an AWD four-door to an SUV.

After the prior union negotiations, an article from a Detroit newspaper listed program changes to different plants. Flat Rock was to receive an increase in the tens of millions. Looking back, it seems this could support a new model.

Yet, the e-mail received sports an URL with, "60thAnniversaryTeaser", in it. A portion of the small video has a 60th Anniversary center cap in it.

So, IDK. . Maybe the confusion is intentional, to draw the most interest. Love the jokes though.

It is not the already announced 60th anniversary package. It is not going to be a Shelby, or a Cobra. It is not going to have 10”/11” wheels. I highly doubt it could have more HP than a DH. It’s not going to be AWD, or a hybrid.

So what is it going to be? How the f-ck do I know. I’m just going to wait until the 16th.
