What did u pay for OTT stripes install?

I think he means "Over the Top".

That said, years ago, my wife wanted stripes on her 06 Mustang. I checked with the tint shop that we use, and they wanted $500 labor + materials for full length stripes - bumper to bumper.

I ended up ordering precut stripe material from a site online for about $100, and put them on myself over one incredibly long and tedious and frustrating weekend. They came out beautiful, but for those stripes... on that car... it totally would have been worth the 5 bills.

Did mine myself. Pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Vinyl is pretty forgiving.

Ugh. Ours sucked. 7 years ago, and the vinyl was wet-apply - so you couldn't use heat to re-form the vinyl. The front bumper on that 06 had so many subtle complex curves going on.... And we put on 2 - 8 inch rally stripes with 1/4"pinstripes. Easily had 24 hours labor in that stripe setup. The front bumper alone had 10 individual pieces of vinyl.

Edit - found some better pictures - The blue one was the wife's Vista Blue 06 Pony Package (RIP) and the red one was my Redfire 06 V6 Premium.

Love that white on vista blue, One of my favorite color combos on mustangs. I don't think I could have done it, and if I did it sure as hell wouldn't have looked like that.

Thanks! If I hadn't gone with Ruby Red for my 2015, I think that DIB would have been my fall-back choice, and I would have done some white stripes on it.
