Opti-Coat on OTT Stripes?

Hi all,

I'm in the process of having the GT350 bonnet + fascia fitted to my car and was wondering whether I should coat these in Opti-Coat before I get the OTT stripes put on or afterwards?

The vinyl specialist said I can Opti-Coat the vinyl stripes too, however, I'm wondering whether it'll make the stripes glossy (I'm getting Satin Black or Black Carbon Fiber stripes with gloss red pinstripes).

I'm in Australia. I haven't seen The Chemical Guys products anywhere in Aus. Might have to import a couple bottles.

I don't want the Opticoat to alter the look of Satin Black at all, so I'll buy a proper product designed for matte vinyls.

On the chemical guy website they don t ship outside usa. But you can find some on amazon or other retailers that will do it.
If you are talking about a nano coating it will become a bit shiny. So you can do the whole car except the stripes and use the kind of chemical i offer you to use. You just need to reapply every 3 month maybe

I think I'll coat the new hood and bumper with Opticoat (rest of the car is already coated). Then when I get the vinyl stripes done I'll coat that with the Chemical Guys product.
