I always have the same reaction, Alex and no wonder there's a good bit of tire noise. <smile>Man I forget how meaty they look since they are always tucked under the fender.
Yes, it does D and that's why I picked up the new Echo edger and why I repaired the gas trimmer. Strange name you have for the weed whackers. <grin>Battery gear is good, but I think with a property as big as yours and with so much lawn, gas power still has a place.
OMG! And I will presume that you don't have any clients with a large lawn. It would take me two solid DAYS to mow with a self-propelled push mower!I have no need or want for a rider or zero turn....................but I do currently have 11 different push mowers.
I knew about Stihl's rep long ago when working for a tree service company, those are the only saws those West Viriginian climbers would use. But, I stayed with Echo for parts exchange and similar maintenance. They are the best gas blower on the market.
I had a Husky saw and while I used it for years, it was always a PITA and when it gave up the ghost, I went with a 60cc Echo Timber wolf.Husqvarna 525BX - I bought this to replace my worn out Stihl. I hate this thing, its hard to start, doesn't have as much power, overall, a dud.
Now that surprises me after my troubles with the chainsaw. I've been very happy with the Echo trimmers I've had although none of them make replacing the line easy.Husqvarna 522L - this is by far the best line trimmer I have ever had.
I also have an Echo hedge trimmer that I have only for the Wedelia ground cover around the trees in front. It does the job but I hate hedge trimmers. They are SO damn dangerous and it's SO easy to react the wrong way and grab the damn oscillating blades.Stihl HSA-56 - this was the first battery powered tool I bought, for the reasons outlined above. Battery life is brilliant on this unit, originally I carried my gas-powered unit "just in case" but never needed it. Brilliant machine.
I've had three at one time so you're not the only crazy on the planet. <smile>I didn't intend on having 4 chainsaws, it sort of just happened.
Without a doubt, that is my favorite push mower engine. They always start first time but the only Honda motor I still have is on the gas pw.Mine is powered by the Honda GX25, such a lovely little engine.
Are you sure? <BSEG>I think that's all of them
Not the least bit surprised. As you said, you would need a dedicated charging station for LOTS of batteries. And those type crews are all about going FAST and screwing around every half hour with a new battery would almost certainly kill the electric advantage.Roll on to this year, and the same team were all back on gas - No, I didn't ask
TOO funny, WD!A lime green Mustang - what's not to like ... ?
