How difficult to upgrade base brakes to PP brakes?

I see FP offers a performance pack brake package for non PP models. I have a premium EB I’d like to add the front PP Brembo calipers and rotors to. Instructions look relatively simple so I’m just looking for any issues or “gotchas” to be aware of when adding this upgrade.

I also see there’s a Bullitt brake package available that replaces all 4 calipers. Is this a viable option as well or do I need to replace the hubs to run these?

The Bullitt brake package does not require any rear suspension changes. The price can be a bit high most places as opposed to sourcing front+rear separately. I purchased and installed it.

There are not any "gotchas" as most kits include the front brake lines. If you actually have the base two piston brakes you will need the included front brake lines.

I see mixed answers on swapping the brake booster/master cylinder when doing this upgrade. Any input?

Sorry, no. My 17 had the PP1 brakes factory, and so does my mach 1.

I’m more concerned with hub and spindle changes vs suspension changes.

Get the PP1 kit from Late Model Restoration.
Install with Stainless Steel Brake Lines from OP Mustang.
Use OEM brake fluid OR swap to Motul RBF600 if you do any HPDE or “fun” canyon days (its great on street).
Profit.

No other steps required. Any queztionz?

It’ll be for a EB convertible that will be a daily. I prefer the extra braking power but my car has the base brakes. I’ve seen a few people swear you need to upgrade the master cylinder/brake booster. What say you?

I track and autocross my car.
I currently have the OEM pads.
I brake hard. Very hard.
I did not upgrade the booster.
I did upgrade to stainless steel lines from @Optimum Performance (sponsor me?).
I use Motul RBF600 brake fluid and change it every 3-6 months (or every major track day).

I see no point in upgrading the booster. Otherwise the kit would include it…

Consider the GT brakes. These are stock on HPP and have more than enough for daily and spirited recreational driving. Also lighter that PP ones.

Nope, I track my car and actually got a set of GT 350 front calipers cheap, needed bracket adapters for those vs PP1. No need to upgrade the master, do the stainless lines and fluid swap while you're in there. You will need rim clearance, 19inch wheels minimum and PP rim backspacing at minimum.
