As far as I could tell, both sides hole and mount are the same. With KPM 2700hp set up, you have hats with pumps on both sides but I was told the tank has to be lowered to install the top cross feed line. I know of one person who has installed this setup.@DougS550 Are both sides of the tank a canted design for the hats?
Same here. I could not justify doing a Return Syle system with a Bucketless system. Mustangs have small horse shoe type tanks and did not want to worry about having a full tank just to go WOT. When I jumpered the KPM to run it without engine start, you could hear the fuel bucket jets pumping fuel into the bucket continuously keeping it full and keeping the fuel supply temperature down. I still have a 7500rpm WOT data log to do for my tuner.Seems very interesting. I always disliked the limits of the popular return-style fuel systems.
Besides dedicated race cars who wants to drive a car that is on e85 with only 8 gallons of fuel you can actually rip on before you have to turn the power down so the fuel can keep up. You basically have to fill up every time or every other time you drive it. Already annoying daily driving the car on e85 and not having to worry about the 1/2 tank limit.
Very nice that more factory-style fuel systems are starting to come out as I am seriously thinking about going boost.
What updates on which system are you looking for?Any updates on this system

I have driven for a couple of hours in stop and go traffic, and freeway 70ish mph and. Numerous WOT letting my car shift at redline with my A10. I will take to dyno after I get my alignment done later this week due to steeda dual rate springs and front camber plates I installed. Opinion/issues so far.You last post was waiting to do a full pull curious How did it work out - do you like it? You think it’s better than return style if so why and they seem pricey but is it worth it
Thank you for the compliment. The install did take a little time for I am a perfectionist and the install, wiring, grounding studs etc had to be routed the best I could with chafing protection in mind. But so far no issues. I dyno this coming Thursday to fine tune everything to ensure not just performance at its best, but reliability through a Flawless tune by Wengerd.Great install Doug! Very thorough. We know how easy it can be to get lost in having just written instructions some times, so here is a video to see how we do our installs in house.
Love your stang build, we have a very similar set up I live in Adelaide Sth Australia, and got KPM to install their 1500 HP fuel system plus PWM with 1500 CC injectors on my 3L Whippled 10R80 GT (3.75 pulley, 132 mm TB) with FI interchiller, OPG & CS, Resiche thermostat and LTH with 3.55 rear. I then got Wengerd to remote tune it for 98 (your 93) and e85 (also got an e85 roll race tune). Wengerd said fuel pressure was great, and the logs looked really good. The tunes were awesome straight off the bat basically no need for revisions and I data logged up to 7000 rpm. I've been amazed with driveability of both tunes on the street but traction on my 315 x 30 x 20 R888R on the street is a problem now, but I guess this tells me the power is there lol! November 30 will be the test as I'll legally roll race 35-130mph on a straight of a racetrack here in South Australia. Wengerd estimates 790whp on e85 and 720 whp on 93 (98). I run a Hoosier DBR which has been an awesome tyre, the goal is mid 5 second range 60-130mph on the e85 roll race tune, hope I can make it happen! Will eventually get it dynod to get an exact power level.Wengerd had no issue tuning due to it being a dual pump setup.
I put a fuel pressure gauge on the front port driver side of whipple rail.
Did you have to lower your tank for the Top crossover feed line tube?
**What boost are you looking to run?
How's the weather where you live?. It’s almost summer here! I live here in Adelaide so KPM built my car from scratch with the Whipple and all supporting mods including the FI interchiller (not killer chiller). They did an awesome job on my car they’re probably the best Mustang guys in Australia especially now with this easy returnless quality fuel system. They also tuned it great as per the fuel system installation video posted by them (that’s my carHow's the weather where you live?. I never got to Australia but always wanted to visit.
Which FI Interchiller did you go with? My US model, installing the stage 2 was a bitch to say the least. Your car looks very nice. Glad to see other members modding their cars. I am currently on E85 with my ID1050X Injectors pushing around 16lbs boost come this spring. I am having my Gen5 3.0 Ported this week by Kong and installing a Innovators West 10% OD crank balancer so I don't have to go so small on my blower pulley. I wish MFP or someone else would make a 10 rib crank support which did not require you to remove your front sway bar. I would never remove my front sway bar unless I was going to drag race my car and not drive on the street.
