My dealer called and said they have pretty close to the car I'm looking for. I have been a member of MCOA for a while, so I figured I'd go ahead and sign up for EAA and try to use the 750$ as well. I've read through the EAA threads but can't find good answers.

Two questions:

1. I thought it would be under "Special Offers" on the Ford Partner site, but I filled that out and haven't received anything yet. Is this the right way to do it?

2. Has anyone used something like an MCOA X Plan PIN and the signed up for the EAA $750 and used the $750 within a few days?

Thanks!

Yes, I have. Did this exact thing last Friday when I picked up my car.

1. You are referring to the EAA $750 offer here? If yes, you don't do that thru the ford partner site. You have to pay the $40 to join EAA and create your account.

2. I used my MCOA x-plan pin for my purchase on 12/19. I joined EAA on 12/17 as well. You have to get the $750 certificate by applying for it via the EAA site. When you do this, it takes you automatically to the Ford partner site. You will then receive an email ASAP with your custom EAA cert that the dealer will use.

Here is the link it will take you to via the EAA site after you login.

Just remember that the present EAA $750 offer is gone after 5 Jan 2015. You have to have bought (not just ordered) the vehicle by that date.

I did this as well.

MCA PIN and EAA 750. No issues.

My dealer wasn't able to get the $750 coupon to work today. They said it kept coming up as already being used or something... But they weren't able to get a hold of anyone at Ford. I'm out of the country so couldn't handle it personally, but my wife went ahead and took delivery, the dealer said they would send me a check as soon as they got it squared away with Ford. Does that sound legit or are they just trying to keep the $750 for themselves? I PM'd Rachel and she gave me a number to call, but can't do it until Friday because that's when they will be back in the office.

Sounds a bit fishy to me. The coupon is setup in your name and your name only.

the coupon doesnt seem to work until after you take delivery, so i am supposed to be getting a $750 check in the mail.

My dealer told me the same thing, but it seemed other people were just getting it off the price of the car.

I used the EAA X-Plan pin and $750 EAA Certificate. It worked great. I have signed all of my paperwork, set to be submitted once my car arrives at the dealership. I am having surgery and wanted it all ready so the coupon wouldn't expire. Since it is definitely in transit, they allowed it. :p

The car needs to be reported as sold, the dealer needs to submit the $750 coupon, 24 hours later the dealer will have confirmation in their system. This way it comes off the price of the car and you are not waiting for a check. Some dealers will make you wait some will credit it up front. I used EAA Pin and $750.

Okay, just in case my car ever comes, how about MCA X plan, $750 Ford Private Cash, $500 current rebate, AND $750 EAA? Anyone pull this off? Here again actual experience not conjecture please...
