I have access to both, but I was wondering which one would actually be cheaper for a GT Premium with PP.

I signed up on Ford to request more information and received an email with the 750 cash, and it clearly states ADZ-plan ineligible.

Anybody know how A-plan and X-plan is calculated to compare these two scenarios?

You can use A-Plan and get all incentives applicable on top of it.

Thanks for the reply, but the fine print of the coupon clearly states ADX-plan ineligible, as I mentioned in the first post. I certainly wish this wasn't the case!

incorrect

Right now on 2015 Mustang, you can NOT combine ANY of the private offers with A-plan, but you can with X-plan.

Even at that, IF you can get A-plan, it is still better than Xplan&$750.

If you have A-plan, I think that's pretty much always going to be your best bet. I think Ford specifically doesn't let people apply more rebates than will beat A/Z plan on top of X plan. You can come close it seems, but you're not gonna beat it.

If you were able to negotiate a price with the dealer that beat A/Z plan, then you might be better off, but I think that's very unlikely.

RisingForce would be able to provide more info in regards to how likely getting AZ or D Plan pricing is. I know D Plan pricing is for Ford employee family members.

Thanks for the info. I didn't realize the A plan was that much of a discount.

I just signed up through the Mustang page of the website to request more info, although I don't remember the exact link.

My brother works for Ford so I was able to order under A-plan. My car Invoices at 41771.60. X-plan is 41879.51. A-plan is 40,071.60. That's $1,807.91 under X-plan. So A-plan without a doubt is better.

My understanding is that the dealership technically looses money for selling cars at A-plan prices. However Ford will make up the difference or more for dealerships selling cars under A-plan. I could be completely wrong about that though. I'm sure the dealership folks on here can clarify on it.

Actually dealer makes more money on A/Z/D deals.
On every AZD deal ford gives an AZD commission to dealer that always brings up the amount above invoice plan.

A plan is for Ford factory employees and their families ( kids parents siblings grandkids grandparents and in laws.

Z is the same above after the employee has retired.

D is for dealership employees and their families.

X is for friends and neighbors of ford factory employees or partners of Ford.
