That will vary from dealer to dealer. I'm ordering about 40-50% at my dealership.

It only makes sense that a lot of ppl would get it, but that seems pretty high. Your dealership must be in a high income area. Most dealerships over here are keeping EBs and V6s under $27K

Is that 40-50% of all Mustangs or just taking into account the Premium models that offer that option?

Personally, I'm surprised at how few I've seen on this forum who have ordered it, along with how few my dealership has on order or in stock. Currently, my dealership has 18 mustangs showing up on line in their inventory, and none are 50th anniversary packages. They did have one LE and one 50th package that they sold, but that's it. The only 50th anniversary on their lot right now is my convertible, and that's only until I get back in town and can bring it home.

Personally, all I see you're getting is a lot of 'bling' for $1,595. I'd rather spent that money on other options or some nice after-market accessories.

Just my opinion.

Having '65 ordering 50 year AP was no brainer. Love the fake gas cap and coralled pony.

You get: 50YR chrome grill, Tail lamp surround, rear gas cap badge, offwhite stiching on dash/door panels/seats/carpets, 50 YR stamped seats, shiny dash panel, more soft touch panels, slightly better carpets, and 50YR plate on dash.

Its kind of a lot for the money and if you look at a black premium interior with and without it next to each other it really looks a lot better in my opinion. It will also probably help on resale

Edit: I left out the obvious 19in wheel upgrade

I agree. I've been waiting 10 years for this model to come out (I have 40th Anniversary) and as far as I'm concerned, this is money well spent to commemorate the 50th anniversary of this awesome car.

And I'm very glad you're enjoying it, honestly!

Maybe if the package was less expensive, I'd consider it. But for me, it's just not worth the price. And I originally had a 64 Mustang in the late 60's that I used as my daily driver, so one would imagine that I'd be more interested in having that package then most here as I could even more identify with it. All goes to show, different strokes for different folks, lol.

The diversity of how we all option out these cars makes it all the more interesting and enjoyable!!!

It was a no brainer for me as I ordered a 1967 Mustang and now ordering a 2015. I love the grill and it brings some of the nostagic look from the cars that started the 50 year run for this american icon.

If you order the PP it cancels out some of the 50 year package and you still pay for it all.

I considered it, mainly for the corral, but decided against it since I got the PP and would essentially be paying for a set of wheels that I couldn't get. If there is a way to do the corral grill through the aftermarket, I may do that in the future. My first car was a '68, so the nostalgic bits did appeal to me.
