I offset mine to the glove box. Bought a stow and show, but have no plans of installing unless the DPS gets real pissy. DPS have a 3 warning protocol for the front plate, trust me, I know. I have around 5000 miles and haven't been hassled in the Mustang yet.

I still don't get how it happened? I let my car warm up on cold mornings, and have left the key in it while I go back in the house for a few minutes and have never had an issue.

cowzrul, 8 weeks probably is a nice conservative estimate, but mine only took 36 days. I ordered November 25 and was told to expect a 9-12 week wait. My car was delivered on December 31, so that timeframe also included Thanksgiving and Christmas. Seems like the factory is really rolling right...

No front plate here. Reminded my sales rep multiple times while waiting for my car to be built and delivered. Car was delivered to me with a perfect, hole free bumper yesterday. Bought a sto-and-sho, just in case, but won't install unless I have to.

Car got delivered yesterday afternoon and I drove it off the lot at 5:30. Sales manager was wanting to get one last sale before the year ended so they made quick work of PDI and prep. 36 days from order to delivery, not bad at all. My EDD and countdown just disappeared from COTUS. I talked to Rachel yesterday and she told me that the car is at the destination where it changes over from rail to truck transport, so hoping that the EDD disappearing means that the system is updating and my car is being loaded for tomorrow's runs.

Ford takes care of it, but the dealer could have pull with the transport company. I was just at the dealership and my sales rep was telling me about one such situation. She also told me that she was bugging the transport driver about my car, so maybe someone will be on the lookout for it and...
