Sorry to say I will be leaving this forum soon. C8 is ready for Museum delivery on April 17th. Planning a nice ride home east from Bowling green to overnight in Knoxville then picking up the parkway working south to Clemson. Any must-do roads to drive?
Will miss all the great input and ideas in here it really has been most helpful and appreciated. Added a lot to my enjoyment of the Mach 1.
I wanted to tap in one more time by asking for input on selling my car. 2021, non HP, 9650 miles, 5 oil changes, garage kept no mods other than all the extras I picked up from looking in here. The sticker was $58,740, with Recaro leather. The car sat in the showroom for one year and went into service on 4-07-2022.
KBB has not changed much in the last 3 months $46,082 average pvt sale. Also if anyone has experience with any of the many forums to sell.
Thanks in advance and wish all of you well!

Congrats! Really cool that you opted for the museum delivery. We saw quite a few take delivery there when we visited last summer. You’ll definitely get the white glove treatment there. Enjoy it (and great color choice btw).

Dal,

Good luck with the Vette. Drop in and show it off, although its a Mustang forum, its still a forum full of car guys and gals. It was nice meeting you at the Track Attack, take care and enjoy the drive home.

Forgot to report back. Museum delivery was awesome, didn't leave enough time and missed the retour of the museum and track laps. Put the Waze on motorcycle mode and had twistys all the way to Knoxville. Hit the Dragon southbound at 7:30 with no traffic or hold ups. This car can corner. Saw .78Gs on the turns with those big fat tires howling! Just completed a 700 mile mountain run with 4 other vettes last week. Saw 110 mph and .7Gs on curvy 76 in between Tail of the Dragon, Back of the Dragon, Blue Ridge Pky, Cherohale Skyway Moonshiner 28 and more. Wheel was rarely in the home position the whole trip. Going to do it again in OCT. Miss all of you and hope all is well with my Mach friends.

That’s awesome, glad you had a good experience with the museum delivery. GM really does it right, wish Ford did something similar with the higher trim Mustangs. Love the yellow!

That's one awesome ride!
Now that brings back a lot memories from when I drove my c7 GS on the TOTD, etc. There's nothing like being on the stretch of rode by yourself and I wouldn't don't any other way.
I hope to make the trip to BG some day soon. Would love to tour the factory.
I have really enjoyed my C8 as well but I want lie I miss the Mach 1 too. The C8 is so refined and I have even considered a radar which I have never owned ...lol. nothing like Zmode!!!

Nice color. Kinda wish I had got the HTC. The top is a little heavy for this 70 yr old, lol.
Just bought a Valentine 1 Gen 2 and 2 Baofeng UV-5G Pro radios. The right foot is a little heavy after all those miles on the twisties. Do you know anything about a Blendmount bracket and power cord/mirror tap? Any ideas on chrome wheels, kinda hard to find. Final list on tags:
IMVETED
ROKN C8, ROCKNC8
EXTRMC8
STNG ME, STINGME
HOT C8
What do you think?
Hope all is well!

Thanks! Doing well and ready for a rode trip myself.
I was really fixed on orange but then I saw this color and it found me. I was after the coupe but found this GM certified with very low miles, all the options I wanted and 20k cheaper than msrp so I signed the bottom line. Had that not been the case I could gave never afforded this car.
No. I have read about the blendmount but not sure how they work. Keep an eye out on the corvette forum.
I kinda like IMVETED!

Funny, I was talking to a couple of friends of mine today. They were talking about taking classes and tracking their Vets at Bowing Green, and how much they liked it.
