We all like what we like that’s for sure! I prefer the initial SN95 vs the New Edge and I get roasted for it every now and then. But I don’t care, they’re beautiful to me and that’s all that matters. Termi Cobra’s have definitely seen values shoot through the roof but who cares if that’s what you really want. Same can be said for Foxes, the prices they were going for a year or two were insane but if that’s what the people want that’s what they want.

I like the sn95 too, kept looking at a 95 Cobra that would not sell for years in Wichita. The second the market went coocoo I looked for it & it was gone. As 80FoxCoupe said, one of the older gen with a Coyote would be sweet.

What's coming?

Lots filling up with new inventory, interest rates and repos through the roof, and manufacturers keep making things more expensive... At some point people will stop buying and the dealers will get sick of making payments on all those cars and start having fire sales.

It's gonna be glorious and I can't wait to see dealers suffer because most of them deserve it.

a smart buyer watches a dealers inventory on the computer and after 6 months on the lot they want to stop the bleeding. i did this and got a new off the lot '16 GT for $30k and 3 years later traded for the BULLITT and got $25 on the trade. its coming the big bubble burst wait and see.

no im 30 years in construction distribution and have seen this 3 times over, 10 year cycles

Dealers do not equal Ford just so we’re clear. Don’t like the dealer markups? Go find another that will make a deal. They’re out there.

This has been discussed and beat to death in many threads.

Subaru has played pretty hard ball with their dealers and prevent them from marking up vehicles. Ford could too if they wanted. All it's doing is sending a signal to manufacturers that cars can be priced more expensively and people will buy them anyways... well, eventually. And you can bet Ford has alllll the data on what cars sold with X amount of markup in Y amount of days.

i've done the same thing as have countless other patient people that actually understand the business. got my last new F150 for 26500 msrp was like 35K sold it back to them for 24K 6 years later which saved me 1500 in taxes on my new GT which effectively meant i paid 1K for a new F150 for 6 years and 65K miles...

...and it looks like next year that might be time to do that again.
