That probably the most disappointing part of the car, that it really doesn’t feel like a totally new generation like we all thought it would be. I agree that it does feel more like the S197 refresh in 2011 than when 6G came out in MY2015. Although I will continue to say I’m glad Mustang with an ICE V8 is still around while its competition has packed up and gone home.
Yeah I agree. But as the EVs keep staying out of reach for most & keep disappointing buyers that have had them for a while I feel like most manufacturers will try to stay in the ICE game. I have no issues with EVs, but the grid is not ready for them & the technology still not up to par in my opinion. When they invent some sort of alternator that uses the rotation from the wheels to recharge the batteries as the cars run it will be a game changer. Although that's a long reach of a dream, the powers at be would never allow that. If they can't make continuous $ off of charging stations it will never happen.

I thought I would change my mind after seeing a few S550.5's around, but still hasn't grown on me. Waiting on car market to adjust & my next buy will still be an 03-04 Cobra.
03 cobra? Yuck! That's the worst value in the mustang world.

I agree with you, the 03-04 Cobra's arent anything special anymore.

That much moola, and you get that super cool high techie dash!!! But I agree, someone somewhere will be convinced it is their dream car and will never ever part with it until the next biturbo assisted supercharged battery/solar backup powered all wheel drive hybrid comes along, then...

Not looking for value. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I own a GT500, a far superior car to the 03/04 Terminator….but I still want one.

Saying something is “irrelevant” is just one person’s opinion and applies to no one else.

Agreed! I know what the car is. But I also know what it would be to me. It's the 1st mustang I fell in love with & you can't put a price on that. The simplicity of it, the nostalgia it would bring for me. That's what matters to me. I can respect his or any others opinions. Still would not change or sway my like.

You are definitely right about that. They bring double what they are worth. The value if any is in its limited availability. A coyote swapped 03 cobra, now we are talking!

We all like what we like that’s for sure! I prefer the initial SN95 vs the New Edge and I get roasted for it every now and then. But I don’t care, they’re beautiful to me and that’s all that matters. Termi Cobra’s have definitely seen values shoot through the roof but who cares if that’s what you really want. Same can be said for Foxes, the prices they were going for a year or two were insane but if that’s what the people want that’s what they want.

Well here's one better, my local dealer has one. no handling package or stripes $66k w/ a $30k dealer markup.......lmfao

FORD is pricing the performance mustang right out of the hands of people who really are the base customer

Dealers do not equal Ford just so we’re clear. Don’t like the dealer markups? Go find another that will make a deal. They’re out there.

This has been discussed and beat to death in many threads.

I almost had one. Almost. Then the market went crazy, my employer let me go due to not getting the vaccine, wife got let go while she was pregnant & it's been a roller coaster since. Good times, good times!
